#arlecchino my QUEEN

Thank you @sorairo_days for taking these amazing photos 😭😭😭 I love you and your work so much! ♥️

—————————

Not sure if you can tell by now. I have a type of character I like to cosplay: red, black, white and fire 😂, maybe with a scar on their face. (except Syaoran but didn’t he had fire spell?)

The reason @_trivialove and I love cosplaying is because we love the characters and we want to bring them to life. It was such an honor to work with @wesley_kyoku for these beautiful shots. He really tells a story in his work 🥹 Thank you so much 🙏 It was so hard to pick which one to post so Im gonna post a lot 😂

The Shoot vs. The Photos: Given Edition 🎸🎶
.
Thank you to my friends who trusted me to capture a series they love so intimately AND to push me to shoot in a style I’m not used to. Telling stories through a series of photos is one of my favorite forms of media and is something I enjoy capturing but it’s hard to find the time to execute this kind of work during conventions and when all your friends live in different states and even countries.

MAGFest is one of our favorite conventions and what better way to kick off an incredible weekend than with a photoshoot on a very empty Wednesday afternoon. I’m so glad the weather decided to be nice to us and bless us with some incredible golden hour sun.

A huge thank you to @basketbaes @ninjadude73 and @coindropservice for taking BTS video 👏

I love you all so, SO much ❤️

It’s National Dog Day! And of course I had to make a post of my two faves, @ranran.cos’ doggo Honey and Ran cosplaying my hubby Caleb 🥺 I swear my two biggest loves are dogs and Caleb and this selfie we took before heading over to the Javits for ANYC came out so cute 😭❤️
.
Thank you @ranran.cos for always being my Caleb, it seriously makes my day every single time ❤️❤️❤️

yuki: @nighteyescos 🤍
ritsuka: @ranran.cos 💙

at magfest this year @ranran.cos and @nighteyescos and @sorairo_days made a dream cosplay come true!

today being ritsuka's birthday, it felt like a good day to post some of the photos at last. the whole month of pride got away from me, but pride is every month in my book. it was hard to choose. if i could i would have picked every single one! this is the first of a few posts so! ❤️

i love #given . think that's not news to anyone here. every time i read it i have that experience of feeling many parts of my own life at the same time. it amounts to resonance. someone else's experience is theirs, not mine. but it might be the same shore or sea we've looked at. where footsteps were and are no longer. where they might be again, and gone, also again. big statements can fall flat or feel frightening: will it make sense? will others find it foolish? /do you understand?/ but without those thoughts and feelings, i think a story might find itself a bit incomplete. the absence of asking and speaking is also a loss.

when i look at hands being held and hands that cannot hold anymore, it means a lot to me. one love does not necessarily negate another. an end is not always a rejection, and beginnings do not always happen in the spring.

"i met you and i heard music."

grateful for every story, every song. those panels of open space drifting with light or drowning in shadow, i'm grateful.

it's not that given means "more" to me than anyone else who loves it. it is just that i /do/ love it. very much. a story you find when you need it is a friend, i think. something like that. taken in MAGfest by @ranran.cos

I will never fully recover from main story Caleb, I am 10000000% convinced he was ready to never see MC again after surviving the explosion by becoming part of the fleet and doing what they wanted (sort of, we all know he’s playing a game of Go while they’re playing checkers 😂) in order to protect her 🥺

Happy Iwaoi day to all who celebrate 🏐🍃🩵

I love that I get to celebrate on my birthday (1/4) AND on 4/1. Truly blessed with the best ship~

Oikawa would 100% sing Paramore at karaoke to get a rise out of iwa-chan ✌🏻

Thank you to my bestie for cosplaying our favorite ship and being the best iwa ever 🥺

That's a rare smile, with no ulterior motive 🍃🏐

Don't let me start when it comes to iwaoi. My ride or die, my sunshine, my precious angels.

Thank you Ran for being the best Iwa-chan in existence and for dealing with me in my most annoying element. ✌🏻

🎼Because someday we'll forget, let's leave it behind like this - in a song. So we can gently remember, so we can find each other again through this melody. 🎸

I firmly believe they would have loved each other in every timeline. After all, Yuki's happiness is Mafuyu's happiness is Ritsuka's happiness.

The parasites in my brain said I couldn't sleep on this and post it at a reasonable time. Given waits for no one.
