As someone who hasn’t been athletically gifted, no sport has ever come naturally to me. Running included. A marathon in itself is mountain to climb, doing one on the opposite corner of the world whilst having an ambitious goal just adds cherry on top. Things didn’t go as planned from the very start and by 13k mark I started puking. Shoutout to the random white dude who gave me a quick motivation speech, the Mexican guy who gave me water bottle at 17k , the nice family who have me pickle juice at 26k , the nice guy who ran with me as I was dying and the lady at the end who pushed me. You may never see this but you are legends.
As someone who has yet to see success in the marathon, it just gives me immense joy that I choose to do this again and again.
I may not fast, yet, but I’m present.
Running is yet to come naturally, but it has taken me to places I wouldn’t have gone other wise.
And 20 minute is still a 20 minute PR.
Boston will come. Eventually by @rao_perspective

I've never been good at sports or generally athletic but running is something I've done on and off for a while.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd cross the finish line.
The training wasn't on point ( I'm still learning)
My legs gave out at around km 16 and it was just pain after that 💀🥲
But we got it done.
Wasn't ideal but better than not finishing any day 💪🏼
Super grateful for everyone who came and everyone who wished me before race day❣️
Let's get back to training.

The walk within

This photo represents people , atleast how I see them
How even amongst the crowd we have our own battles and our victories and defeats and no matter how alone we feel , someone will always rooting for us

This picture gives me hope, that even when one might feel alone, a group of crazy idiots will always be there watching and waiting for the finish line

So a thanks to all my friends for rooting for me

On the way to Kuari Pass Sumit

This shot was taken on the third day of the trek
It snowed the night before and the trail was slippery and as we pushed we could feel the cold wind hitting us in the face while we walked on a trail full of mud, snow and ice.

We see our trek leader @the_rustic_explorer as he helped us navigate through the trail
This the was the penultimate stretch as we pushed to summit.

The summit push wasn't particularly hard as the ascent incline was very gradual but unexpected snowing the night before made it hard as it was not expected and it became distinctly hard for me because my shoes froze overnight yet we witnessed clear skies and the mountain gods let us climb to the top

After countless failed attempts and frustrating hours and life kicking me in the gut , I almost gave up on this edit or atleast posting an edit but I pulled through.
