Part 1: Witchy Curriculum

I think that as we get older we lose a sense of magic, I lost it myself. For many years I decided to lock myself to the possibility of a world beyond this existing.

But then when I entered high school a friend of mine reignited my passion for all things magic. I started learning a bit about esoterics and their system.

I also started doing tarot cards again, which was a hobby of mine as a kid.

In 2021 I started studying Astrology at a faculty and I really felt like I needed a more structured approach. I wished I could attend a magic school, the same wish I had as a kid.

I saw that many people online are making their personal curriculum. Following their own interests, completing their own tasks, giving themselves their own homework. What if I create a magic(k) one?

I dyed my hair for several years without running water. I used to live in a rural area of Chile my whole life where we literally had to use water from a well. Eventually it got modernized allowing us neighbors to use a reservoir of water among ourselves, but that meant that water was always limited.

As a kid, I wanted to see the world, to travel, but I was always made to believe that it was impossible by the people around me, and I cannot blame them. Getting out of a situation like that involves a lot of self sacrifice, breaking the wheel takes longer than a fee years. I’m glad that I did.

Anyways, here’s how to dye your hair without running water:

Materials:
4 buckets, various sizes.
Your box dye

Procedure:
Follow as you would with any dye, but use one of the buckets for dipping your hair until most of the dye comes out. With your wet har, shampoo as much as you can. Dip your hair again in the second bucket, then in the 3rd until the eater comes clean.

Leave the biggest bucket to the end and dump it un top of your hair as you would while showering. by @raonei

I thought I was going to die at 27.

I got hospitalized because of lupus. I had liquid in my pericardial sack and the tiniest movement would give my heart a hard time. They didn’t even let me walk to the bathroom for fear of a heart attack.

On top of that, I had kidney failure and I had to get it punctured. They had to switched me to a diff hospital in hopes they could save my life.

That was in 2019, I’m 33 now. And for my Saturn return at 30, I finally managed to manifest my ultimate dream of traveling the world with someone I loved.

Never EVER stop believing in yourself.

These Grimoires contain far more than just unhinged spells.

The ones that I’m most acquainted with is the PGM (Greek Magical Papyri), I came across it back in 2017 and it took me a couple of years until I decided to practice a couple pf spells from there.

I always found very funny that some of these books have completely crazy claims.

Here are the books:
- The Complete Picatrix: The Occult Classic of Astrological Magic Liber Atratus Edition by John Michael Greer
- The Greek Magical Papyri in Translation edited by Hans Dieter Betz (also known as the PGM)
- The Goetia of Dr Rudd by Stephen Skinner and David Rankine
- Ars Notoria by Stephen Skinner
- The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage by S. L MacGregor Mathers (this is mostly known for establishing communication with the guardian angel)

Minoxidil can KILL your cats.

I moved to Germany a couple years ago, with my lupus history and recovering from a little bit of alopecia.

I always wanted to try Minoxidil, and nobody told me that it is extremely toxic for animals.

I’m glad I started my journey of recovering my hair (which has worked amazingly) once fully away from my furry babies.

So, of course, when I visited them for the first time in 3 years I completely cancelled it.

I’m happy and have no regrets. Cats are more important than hair, and as long as I live here I will not have any pets because of this reason.

Being chronically ill makes me feel useless.

The picture that they sell us is that we need to produce so we can buy nice things, when in reality is that we need to do it to earn the right to live.

Last week I was sick, I had been for more than 2 weeks. This hadn’t happened in a long time, and it really made me feel vulnerable.

Imagine was always an overachiever at school and uni, and the fact that I cannot perform like the rest makes me feel like I’m bad at my work.

But I’ve accepted a universal truth, and that is that it doesn’t matter how much you “contribute” to this machine. That’s what it is, a machine. Not a human.

That makes me wonder, what would happen if we suddenly decide to include the human in it?

I think a lot of these are inherited actually.

For example, the fact that things break after meeting someone is something I was told to avoid as a little kid.

And of course, the ringing on the ears it’s quite universal among witches and just generally sensitive people.

In 2018 I was diagnosed with Lupus and my entire life went upside down.

I suddenly had to take 17 pills daily and I struggled to even keep them down, I remember I had to go back to the hospital because I kept throwing up.

I was hospitalized for an entire month and I thought my life would end up there in those walls, I without ever realizing my dream pf traveling. I wasn’t even 27, that wasn’t how it was supposed to turn out.

When the pandemic came along I was in a bad relationship and my life just wouldn’t get better, but I had a plan.

I believe in the power of the mind and after a hard breakup I decided to give meditation every day a go, I used the Silva Mind Control Method. I would even meditate several times a day. I remember at some point it was like 3 times.

My health improved and I finally found the strength to keep going, I met my amazing partner and I moved abroad.

Life changed with inly a change of perspective and I really wished I stumbled upon meditation earlier.
