There are moments in life that quietly change your trajectory.

Years ago, I attended Maximum Impact as just another undergraduate studying French. I had no idea that what I would hear that day would change the course of my life. That conference pushed me to enrol @mavensidd to study interior design and eventually led to the birth of @_racamz

Fast forward to this past weekend, and I had the privilege of serving as the Convener of the 8th edition of the very conference that once transformed me.

Life has a beautiful way of coming full circle.

This year's edition recorded our largest attendance yet, and none of it would have been possible without an incredible planning team, led by our amazing CPC @oba.herself , whose trust and support made my role much easier.

One personal highlight? Standing beside Mr. Ayo Akinola @ayakinola , an entrepreneur I admire, and watching him sign a copy of Credit Alert. I remember buying that book almost immediately after it was released and telling my team, "We'll have him speak at Maximum Impact." Thanks to a relationship with @joshchibueze, a past speaker at the conference, and God's favour, that became a reality.

To our speakers, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and every single attendee, thank you for making Maximum Impact 2026 unforgettable.

And to everyone who attended, I hope years from now you'll look back and realize that Saturday, 4th July 2026, was one of those moments that quietly changed your life. Because that's what Maximum Impact has always been about.

Everyone's talking about the "Olodo Uprising."

I think we're laughing at the wrong thing.

The real problem isn't that some people can't answer basic questions. The real problem is the educational system that produced them and the culture that mistakes certificates for competence.

I wrote about why I believe we're witnessing "The Death of Learning" in Nigeria.

I'd love to know if you agree or if you think I'm completely wrong.
