so stoked to announce that I’ll be performing at Suikerrock on Sunday 9 August !!! 🥹
playing festivals has always been a dream of mine, so this feels unreal… can’t believe I get to be part of festival season after 5 years of hard work 🧚🏾‍♀️

my debut EP ‘Circus’ turned 1 year 🥹🎪 who thought writing about being the clown of the group would bring me here…

‘Circus’ was made during the darkest period of my life, and I’m so thankful for the Rapha of three years ago for writing everything down instead of keeping it all inside. turning all those feelings into music not only helped me, but also helped so many people understand their own emotions during difficult phases of life.

this EP took a full year between Antwerp and London to become what it is now. it cost so much time, money, long studio days, content shoots, tears in my room and moments where I genuinely thought nobody would care when it finally came out. but ‘Circus’? literally changed my life for the better:

because of this EP I sold out my first headline show, sang in the house of the Belgian Royal Family, did my first support acts, did shows in my dream venues, got to make music with one of my favorite artists, got more visibility and most importantly… I started believing in my art. it made me realize this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.

thank you to everyone who believed in this project and worked on it, you all know who you are. thank you to my friends and family for loving me through all the ugly parts of this period. thank you to my therapists for making me understand my feelings to then turn them in songs that made the EP <3
but one of the biggest thank you’s goes to @holyoski for bringing my idea of ‘Circus’ to life. thank you for your patience, friendship, understanding and all your “cherry on the top” ideas. I genuinely don’t know what I would do without you 🤍
