Yes. But… the RAW never tells the whole story. 👀📸

Hiking through the Dolomites in South Tyrol — from Tre Cime and Seceda to Alpe di Siusi and Lago di Braies — the camera captures the scene.

But your eyes remember more.

Golden light through the forests.
Deep green alpine fields.
Fog wrapping around the Dolomite mountains.
The turquoise water of Lago di Braies.
The scale of Tre Cime.
The ridges of Seceda. ⛰️🥾

That’s where RAW editing and Lightroom come in.

Not to fake the moment — but to bring back the light, color, contrast and mood I remember from hiking through the Dolomites.

The RAW gives me the image.
The edit brings me back to the moment.

Same place. Same mountains.
Different feeling.

So swipe again — Yes or But? Which one feels more real to you? 👀

Shots fired. 🎞️💨

Self portrait, studio light, shadows and texture.

Found my dad’s old lens. Here’s what happened. 👀📸
An old Tokina 24mm f/2.8, a lens adapter and my Sony Alpha. A setup I had never really tried before.
So I took it into my own garden for some macro photography. 🌸🐝
And suddenly, everything looked different.
Tiny insects hiding in flowers. Bumblebees collecting pollen. Purple berries, soft bokeh and little details I had never noticed before.
That’s what I love about photography.
You don’t always need expensive gear or a new location to find something worth photographing.
Sometimes an old vintage lens and a bit of curiosity are enough to see the world differently. ✨
Shot in RAW, edited in Lightroom — bringing out the natural colors, light and textures.
Same garden. Different perspective.
Would you try macro photography with an old lens? 👀

The Power of the Mountains. ⛰️📸

There’s something about being in the mountains that changes the pace.

Hiking through the Dolomites — from Alpe di Siusi and Seceda to Tre Cime, the Cadini Group, Sciliar and the endless peaks of South Tyrol — everything suddenly feels a little less important.

No noise. No rush.
Just walking, breathing and looking for the next frame. 🥾🌿

That’s what I love about mountain photography.

You start noticing the lighting, the shadows, the textures in the rocks, the layers in the landscape and the way the light changes everything.

Shooting RAW with my Sony Alpha 7V, switching between the Sigma 24–70mm F2.8 and the Sony GM 70–200mm F2.8, gives me the freedom to capture both the big views and the small details.

Later in Lightroom, it’s all about bringing back the mood — light, contrast, color, texture and depth. 🎞️✨

Landscape photography becomes more than taking pictures.

Sometimes the mountains give you a view.
Sometimes they give you exactly the reset you needed.

What do the mountains give you? 👀

Morning light makes you notice things you normally miss. 🌅🕷️

A spider sitting in its web, dew drops catching the sunrise and tiny details glowing in the backlight.

That’s why I love morning photography and macro photography — you start looking closer.

Spider webs. Dew drops. Golden hour.
Soft bokeh. Backlight. Shallow depth of field. ✨

Shot in RAW and only lightly edited in Lightroom.
The natural light already created most of the mood.

Sometimes nature photography isn’t about finding something big.

Sometimes one spider, one web and the right light are enough. 📸

6AM. No phone. Just light. 🌅📸

Early morning walk through my hometown in Austria.
No traffic, no distractions — just birds, golden hour light and my camera.

Morning photography makes you notice the small things: dew drops, spider webs, backlight, soft bokeh, a wonderful glow and tiny details you would normally walk past. 🌿

Shot in RAW on my Sony Alpha 7V with a Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 Lense, edited lightly in Lightroom Classic — but honestly, the natural light already did most of the work. ✨

Sometimes nature photography isn’t about going far.
It’s just about getting up and looking closer. 👀

Milano — where chaos turns into frames. 🇮🇹📸

A small camera, no plan — just walking through Milan and letting the city happen.

Street photography here is all about timing.

People. Motion. Light. Shadows. Architecture.
Moments that last for a second — and then they’re gone. 🎞️

That’s why I love shooting RAW.

The camera captures the scene, but Lightroom helps me bring back the mood I remember — through color correction, contrast, highlights, shadows and small details.

Milan is loud, crowded and always moving.

But for photography, that chaos is exactly what makes it interesting.

RAW gives me the frame.
Editing gives it the feeling.

Street photography, Lightroom, color grading, motion and light — all in one city.

Which frame feels most like Milano to you? 👀

Yes. But… the RAW never tells the whole story. 👀📸✨

Every photo starts with a RAW file.

Landscape photography, street photography, sports photography or event photography — the camera records the light, but the final image is shaped in the edit. 🎞️

That’s where Adobe Lightroom and Lightroom Classic become part of my photography workflow.

Exposure. White balance.
Highlights and shadows. 🌗
Color correction and color grading. 🎨
Contrast, masking and small local adjustments.

Not to turn the photo into something fake — but to bring back the light, colors and mood I remember when I pressed the shutter. 📷✨

For me, RAW editing is not about fixing a bad photo.

It’s about taking the information the camera captured and turning it into the image I had in mind.

The RAW gives me the file.
The Lightroom edit gives it the feeling. 🔥

Same photograph.
Same moment.
Different interpretation.

So swipe through again — Yes or But? RAW or Edit? 👀💭

Mallorca — where I started seeing more than just the view. 🌊📸

Almost one year ago, I was just starting to take photography more seriously.

Looking back at these frames from Mallorca now, I can already see the things I still search for today.

Turquoise Mediterranean water around Cala Pi and Coll Baix.
Golden light across the Serra de Tramuntana.
Warm stone, small streets and quiet moments in Sóller.
Boats, cliffs, shadows and coastal views around Alcúdia. ✨

Color. Contrast. Light. Details.

🔙 Back then, I was simply taking pictures of what caught my eye.

🔜 Today, I realize those moments were slowly shaping the way I photograph.

Maybe your style doesn’t start when you finally understand it. Maybe it starts long before you even notice it.

Swipe through again — which frame feels most like Mallorca to you? For me - it's Frame 2... 👀

Sri Lanka didn’t just give me pictures. It changed the way I look at what I have. 🇱🇰✨

A little throwback with some of the frames that stayed with me — maybe not always the “perfect” ones, but the ones that bring the feeling back.

From Pidurangala Rock and the view of Sigiriya Lion Rock, to the green hills around Ella, the beaches of Mirissa and the streets of Galle — Sri Lanka feels almost impossible to describe in one word.

Colorful. Wild. Powerful. 🌴📸

Tropical forests, endless tea fields, a beutiful indian ocean, wildlife and a kind of biodiversity that feels completely different from anything I know from Europe.

But Sri Lanka also shows you contrasts.

Incredible beauty next to poverty.
Paradise-like landscapes next to pollution and waste.
Places that leave you speechless for completely different reasons.

And then there are the people.

Open. Kind. Helpful. Curious.
So many small conversations and moments of warmth that stayed with me long after leaving.

Maybe that’s what travel is really about.

You go somewhere to discover another country — and somehow come home looking at your own life a little differently.

More grateful.
More aware.
And hopefully a little less likely to take things for granted.

Sri Lanka was loud, colorful, imperfect and incredibly beautiful.

Some countries you visit. Others stay with you for a lifetime! 🇱🇰❤️

Some portraits show a person. Others show what’s going on inside. 😮‍💨

These images were created for a book project by a friend of mine, Patrick Farkas, about self-discovery, change and finding your own direction. 🎞️

The idea was to create portraits that don’t just show a face — but carry a feeling.

Light, shadows, details, expression.
Sometimes one look says more than a whole page.

A series I really wanted to share here.

Which frame tells you the most? 👀
