There are two kinds of people in life. Those who hit a pothole and then scream and yell at the city for failure to maintain the roads that led to the pothole that they hit.

Then there are those who turn the responsibility inward and take action where they have the most power. They assess the damage of the vehicle, and take action to fix things in their own life first.

There are things all around us every single day that we do not like. Potholes if you will in the road of life. Sometimes we slam right into them. Others we're able to straddle or avoid altogether. Regardless, when we hit them damage has been done and it must be repaired.

It feels good to become emotional, to rant, and to raise a banner of awareness at the side of the pothole but in the end we still need to get our tire repaired, or our alignment fixed so that we can safely travel in our life.

We all have a choice each and every day. Where do we put our focus?
Where do I have the most ability to affect and make change?
Is it in the rant?
Not generally.

It's only when we turn our energy to ourself and make change there that we begin to make change elsewhere. Personal empowerment and healing from the inside out so that we are able to navigate the roads of life better, helps us avoid the pothole in the future and keeps us emotionally stable and aligned so that others will listen and we can make change.

It doesn't matter if this is in the workplace, the boardroom, the bedroom, in religious or political circles. There will always be potholes and it is up to us to do all we can to miss them but when we hit them it is up to us to do the work we need to repair the damage we have suffered, so we can then move forward - emotionally centered, without stress of being out of alignment, to help others avoid the potholes, or to simply fix them.

This is what I do. I fix alignments. I balance tires. I repair bent rims. I do this with my clients so they can then go and fill in the potholes and be more aligned and balanced to take on the challenges of their life.

 Have potholes to fill? DM me. Let's talk.#brettjuddhypnotherapy #ihaverecovered #hypnotherapy #whoseissueisit by @rapidpeakmindset

I'd like to share a special project I'm working on. This has particular importance to me and I'm grateful to have the time to follow what I've been feeling I am to be doing.

Many of you know I am member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

There are many in my faith who desire to feel closer to God, want to go to the temple, yet find themselves caught in addictions of all kinds.

We like to pigeon hole addiction into just drugs, alcohol, or sexual vices and turn our backs to "those people" but the reality is many are trapped in socially accepted addictions. Sugar consumption is one of the largest addictions and yet no one bats an eye, even when diagnosed with diabetes or heart disease Have been the result.

Following a strong feeling I've had for about 6 months, I've launched a YouTube program addressing recovery and the gospel of Jesus Christ. How repentance with true humility and the vulnerability needed to seek assistance is the way to lasting change. How Christ's Atonement isn't about white knuckle abstinence, but true transformation.

The program is called Returned to Honor. In it I teach the principles of recovery, change, and healing all interrelated with Gospel principles of true change, forgiveness, lack of shame, and becoming new and clean again.

Follow the link and subscribe.

The faster I get my subscriptions up, the faster the show will get shared and promoted. If you feel you can support me, I'd love it if you would subscribe. You don't even need to watch a show or get notifications but that would be incredible too.

If you know anyone who you feel would benefit, please share the link. There will soon be an online coaching program for those wanting to make real change. If you want to be on the waiting list for noticing about the program, DM me.

It's time to say I Have Recovered and Returned to Honor.

It's time to rethink anger.

Simply put, anger is not an emotion. It is a very useful behavior.

Sure, there is a lot of emotion there, but the emotion is scapegoating the real emotion.

I call it the Swiss Army Knife, or chameleon of emotion. It's utility is broad and as long as it works we will revisit it repeatedly.

Anger is the powerful cover for fear, betrayal, disappointment, loneliness, abandonment, sadness, embarrassment, and nearly all other negative emotions.

It's the adrenaline charged physical reaction that seems a message to others and to yourself that you are not to be messed with.

Anger management begins with getting honest about what is really going on.

Emotional maturity is the ability to feel and acknowledge the underlying emotion without the knee jerk reaction.

It's only when we become honest with what we are feeling and the real emotion that it loses it's utility.

It's when we accept that it is a behavior loaded with emotion, but not an emotion that we finally stop being controlled by it.

Next time you are angry, all yourself what it is that the anger is hiding. Then you can go to work dealing with that instead of spreading it on others. by @rapidpeakmindset

Few questions have the power to change what this one can.

"Why do I care?"

I've yet to work with anyone, in any situation, where we don't come to a point of restraint, restriction, resentment, or reservation and asking this seemingly simple question does not open up volumes of self awareness.

We all carry locked into, rigid beliefs. Core principles about how the world is "supposed" to be or how it "should" happen.

All too often, these rigid internal statements of personal truth are the very stone that is blocking personal progress.

"Why do I care?" forces a dialog with self that most are unwilling to have. But if we don't ask, and don't listen we will never know our true inner auto pilot.

Personal conflict in business. Why do you care?

Issues with your spouse? Why do you care?

Children driving you insane? Why do you care?

Someone say something you find offensive on SM? Why do you care?

Not achieving what you believed to be possible? Why do you care?

Getting emotionally triggered? Why do you care?

And the list goes on.

Once asked, the inner voice of the subconscious cannot help itself but to answer.

Ask why do I care about that enough, you ultimately come to the reality that it is all about you. It always is.

We are the creators of our own distress.

Our own misfortune.

Our own potential.

When someone truly masters this ask and answer self dialog and are willing to be brutally honest about where responsibility lies, they become free to accomplish anything within their biological ability.

"Why do I care" becomes the liberating question to everything hindering your dreams.

In my client work we use proven tools of subconscious realignment to release the old and embrace core beliefs that truly unlock your power.

Hypnotherapy, bilateral stimulation, and outcome based coaching combine in a powerful and efficient way to finally say "I no longer care about anything that will not better my life".

I'm taking a small number of clients who are looking to have the most transformative year ever.

So much around us is changing, why not make some personal changes as well?

I had a client ask me today, "how did you get so smart?". I chuckled. I've never considered myself the smartest person in the room. Then I said,

"I study. I'm constantly wanting to learn more. To see the patterns and connections. I want to understand why trauma and distress leads to anguish and addiction. I want to know how to rebuild life for people after that trauma, removing the addiction".

We discussed the meaning of life. I said "I believe the meaning of life is to live life, fully. Free of pain. Free of shame."

We talked about coping tools. How useless they are after awhile. That they are great in the moment but they are not supposed to be used I'm place of healing. Real healing. Like driving a car clenched like you do on black ice, but doing that everyday. You can't.

Over the years I've learned that with the right tools (EMDR, hypnotherapy) all trauma can be healed. Life can be lived.

We discussed many things in group today, but the main thing that we discussed was hope. Hope that when the right tools are used in the right way, the behaviors of trauma fade away.

Self doubt, shame, addictions of all kinds, sabotage of dreams and goals. All of these leave. Life begins to be lived.

I love that. It's amazing to go to work and see new life being born everyday.

Come be next?

I don't believe that you never recover. That you are always "in recovery". Where's the hope in that?

To believe that you are powerless and will always be in a fight with your "true" self. Nothing could be more defeating.

Gabor Mate eloquently started that "an addiction is trying to get from the outside, sometime that can only arise and fulfill from the inside".

So, today in group we did not talk about "coping strategies" and tools. These are just external attempts to manage an internal void. The same as the addiction.

Instead we talked about healing. Real, lasting healing. Healing of the hurt from the inside out. Not simply putting lidocaine on the sore, but healing the trauma and filling the void.

One client gasped and with excitement and tears said "I understand! I finally get it". They realized that healing was happening and had come across the reason for their pain. Their auction has begun to lose it's hold.

Once the pain is healed from the inside out, the need for whatever the object of the addiction disappears.

This is how lives are changed, lives are saved. From the inside out with complete healing. Not by simply placating the passion with coping tools.

How do I do this? Simple. I help people come to an understanding of the pain that the addiction is trying to soothe, and then we heal it. Hypnotherapy, EMDR, group, and individual work combined for total relief.

My clients can truly say "I have recovered" . Anything else is incomplete.

Faith based Atonement centered "Return To Honor " group Thursdays at 6.

So much time is wasted allowing ourselves to get taken up in the business of others.

There's a common statement in SM comments, "you could have just scrolled by".

Two powerful questions can keep you in your own lane and avoid significant chaos.

1. "Why do I care?"
2. "Whose issue is it?"

The first helps you get to why you feel the need to engage.

The second helps clarify if you even should.

Unless directly asked, it's rarely our issue and the only reason we feel inclined to engage is to feel important or relevant by adding our unsolicited opinion.

Most times, we are better served by scrolling on.

The impact of shame based parenting or shaming a partner, employee, or other is so long lasting and deep that it already how that person sees themselves for years to come.

Shame debases drive.

Shame guts potential.

Shame kills connection.

If you've experienced shaming and find yourself wrapped in self doubt or driven by "shoulds", there is a way out.

Shame truly is about the person shaming and not about you.

We all make mistakes.

We all do filling things.

No one is perfect or "good enough".

The next time you hear those words of shame in your head, ask "good enough for whom, at what?".

You'll soon find you are good enough, for you or you are becoming good and are enough now.

Brain growth and activation with NIR can be done just sitting at your desk. It doesn't take a lot of special efforts or expensive tools.

We all know that there are things we need to for our personal growth. "I don't have time" is a common refrain.

Red light, breathing and grounding, and other tools can be done easily while working.

The same is true with hypnosis for deep inner mindset change.

Last night as I went to sleep I put on my Bluetooth headband and turned on a hypnosis. I slept deeply. I woke refreshed. I woke focused.

My "Imposter No More" series is a self directed, recorded hypno coaching program that helps you over come the inner barriers that trip up so of us at time.

Never let time get in your way of your personal growth. There are ways when there is a will. Will you reach out?

Let's get together and get you growing.

Let's grow! by @rapidpeakmindset

Anxiety is actually a warning sign that something needs to be done .

The brains automatic signal that there's danger or threat is to dump adrenaline and get us to take action and to become hyper aware .

This has been interpreted and perceived as anxiety and for many a thing to medicate and push away.

When anxiety becomes a habituated response than it does become problematic but for most of us and even for those who suffer with it on a regular basis there are things you can do.

By implementing the tools that I talk about in this video you'll be taking a fast step forward and taking care of and actually gaining traction against the pressures of stress and anxiety and be able to change the course of your life in a past and easy way .

When you find more is needed, that's when we're able to do some phenomenal work through hypnotherapy and make the changes at a deep level that need to happen in order to rid yourself of the chaos that stress and anxiety can bring. by @rapidpeakmindset

I recently decided to take on a job that turns out to be incredibly boring most days.

As in, two days this week, I had nothing to do, but I still needed to be ready to get on camera when needed.

Like many of us have heard "if you are bored, there's the broom", there is always something that can be done.

We are in total control of how we feel and how we respond to those feelings. Unfortunately, these responses become habits and we can begin to think we have no control.

Sometimes, the habit was rooted years ago. I had a client who was never able to feel comfortable if he was not working and also never felt like his work was good enough.

His father was a tough, never praise, shame-based parent. While my client did learn to work, he never learned how to rest, take pride, and feel good about himself.

Hypnotherapy is the fastest and easiest way to rewrite and unravel this type of stress. Whether we imposed it or another, you can be free and live without that shame and anxiety.

If you are ready to transition to a new way of living, message me and let's work to create your future.
