Kanye West and Kim Kardashian marked North West’s 13th birthday in very different ways on social media this week.

Kim shared a much longer tribute, calling North her “twin voice” and reflecting on watching her grow into a teenager.

Kanye kept it short, posting a simple “Happy Bday Twin” message alongside an image inspired by North’s recent style.

The posts quickly started making rounds online, with fans comparing the contrast between Kanye’s minimal approach and Kim’s detailed birthday message.

Whose birthday post do you think captured North’s personality better?

Kim Kardashian shared a heartfelt birthday tribute for North, celebrating her becoming a teenager and reflecting on their close bond.

Kanye kept things much simpler, posting just four words: “Happy Bday Twin.” The brief message quickly caught attention for how different it was from Kim’s approach. by @rapoutlet

Travis Scott’s mom thought she was sending him money for college, but he was quietly using it to fund his move toward music.

He had already dropped out and was saving the money while preparing to chase his career full-time.

The story has become one of the early pieces of Travis Scott’s come-up, showing how much risk was behind the image before the fame.

His mom later realized the “college student” she thought she was supporting was actually building the foundation for a global rap career.

Was this bold vision or just a wild gamble that somehow worked out? by @rapoutlet

A Florida principal was placed on paid administrative leave after a Fetty Wap lyric from “Trap Queen” appeared in her school’s yearbook under her name.

The quote, “Everybody hating, we just call them fans though!” was printed on the opening page of Trout Creek Academy’s yearbook and credited to Principal Katie O’Connell.

O’Connell says she approved the yearbook multiple times and that the lyric was not present in the versions she reviewed before publication.

The St. Johns County School District placed her on paid administrative leave on May 20 while the situation is reviewed.

If the lyric was added without her knowledge, do you think placing her on leave was the right move? by @rapoutlet

21 Savage thought another player was joking during a celebrity basketball game until things started getting serious and he had to match the energy 😭

The other player appeared to confront Savage on the court, pointing at him as the two exchanged words.

Savage initially smiled and seemed to take the interaction as a joke before realizing the other player was serious.

As the tension grew, Savage responded with “Y’all trying to get gangster,” turning an ordinary basketball moment into a heated exchange.

Was 21 Savage right to match his energy or was bro taking a basketball game way too seriously? 😭 by @rapoutlet

Kanye West really premiered an original song on The Cleveland Show back in 2010, and this might be one of his most forgotten music moments 😭

Ye appeared in the episode “Harder, Better, Faster, Browner,” where he voiced Kenny West, an animated parody of himself.

During the episode, his character performed an original track called “Be-Cleve in Yourself” alongside Cleveland Brown.

The appearance came during the same year Kanye released My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, making it an interesting throwback to one of the biggest eras of his career.

Be real, how many of y’all actually remember Kanye being on The Cleveland Show? 😂 by @rapoutlet

Forget money spreading, producer Rio Leyva has his own version of a money spread, showing off the plaques he’s earned from making hits 😭🔥

Rio first gained recognition as part of Internet Money, the producer collective founded by Taz Taylor that helped shape the SoundCloud rap era.

He’s worked with artists including Lil Tecca, The Kid LAROI, Lil Mosey, Lil Baby, and Gucci Mane, building an impressive catalog of production credits.

His work includes Gucci Mane and Lil Baby’s “Both Sides” and contributions to The Kid LAROI’s FCK LOVE era, with more recent credits on Don Toliver’s OCTANE.

Be real, is a wall full of platinum plaques a bigger flex than a stack of cash? 👀

2018 might actually go down as one of the greatest years in hip-hop history because looking back at all the music we got is insane 😭🔥

Travis Scott dropped ASTROWORLD, Drake released Scorpion, Juice WRLD gave us Goodbye & Good Riddance, and XXXTENTACION released ?.

We also got Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V, Mac Miller’s Swimming, Playboi Carti’s Die Lit, and Kanye West’s ye, all in the same year.

Between the rise of SoundCloud rap, massive album releases, and artists experimenting with completely different sounds, 2018 had something for everybody.

Be real, is 2018 the greatest year for rap music or does another year beat it? 👀 by @rapoutlet
