I am being vulnerable and sharing my brain damage due to child abuse and brutal childhood trauma. Many of you don't know how I came in the world with my dad stomping on my pregnant mom's belly because she didn't get an abortion, then labor had to be induced and I was a forceps delivery. Then add the years of child abuse, abandoned at a psychiatric facility at age 5, diagnosed and labeled with many emotional and behavioral issues, learning disabilities and a low IQ...then sent to a shelter for un-adoptable kids and placed in foster care for 13 years...of course, I am going to have damage which results in behavioral challenges, behavioral responses that may not seem normal for a child and learning disabilities as well as small and large motor skill issues as a child....I always knew there was something wrong...as many kids from the foster care system probably feel too.. plus being survival mode for years and dealing with rejection and abandonment as a child and how that affects you as an adult. *** The good news though is your brain can adapt as you will see in this video. The message here is to never give up on yourself and never let your past infect you. Seek help and make the rest of your life, the best of your life. I had to heal so that I could be the man I am today but as you will see in the video...it was a fight...but I won...even with the brain damage that you will see. Never give up my friends!
