I debated whether I should share this reel with you all, because I still don’t know how i’ll manage to include watercolours into an illustration process that is mostly composed of acrylic gouache 😂 (For now!) But I’d also decided to be more open about trials and mistakes, instead of making instagram an highlight reel.

One thing I know for sure! Having two big watercolour palettes was making using watercolours more difficult! Analysis paralysis? Hopefully it will be easier (and simpler!) like this. The remaining colours will have to wait their turn.

Now I need to actually start working on some illustrations with watercolours, and gouache and colour pencils! 😂 Why do I feel like procrastinating (again?) 🫣

Also, do you guys have any storage advice or suggestions other than an old pouch inside a drawer? 🙃 by @raquelrussoo

Thought I’d share what my studio looks like after #OurPlanetWeek2026… a little bit of chaos ✨

One day I’ll have a nice studio, with a lovely wooden table, nice shelves, and plenty of art supplies all around.

Happy Earth Day Everyone 🌿✨ And today is also the start of #OurPlanetWeek2026!

Today’s prompt (Forests Growing) made me think of those really big, old forests that feel so huge and majestic… the kind where everything is quietly alive, even when it seems still. It’s strange how something so big can still feel fragile.
