The patience. The wisdom. The strength. The deeper faith. The things you can now handle that once felt impossible.

You don't have to have arrived to be grateful for who you are becoming. God is still working.

Your life is telling a story, even in the ordinary moments. The question is: what story is it telling?

This month's GeeGee's Musings is a reminder I needed myself, that Jesus has already called us to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. May our lives reflect Him, not just in what we say, but in how we live.

I hope it encourages you as much as it encouraged me.

Still smiling, maybe not literally😂

But on Sunday, I saw myself through the eyes of the people who love me, and it reminded me of something I'll never forget: I am loved, I am seen, I am amazingggg and I am far more than I sometimes give myself credit for.

I truly am that babe. 🥹✨

Thank you everyone, for every message, every prayer, every call, every post, and every kind word. You didn't just celebrate my birthday, you spoke life over me, and I'm carrying every one of those blessings into this new year.

Gratitude is not pretending that everything is perfect. It's choosing to remember that God has been faithful, even while you're waiting for what comes next.

I think many of us, myself included, are quick to notice what hasn't happened yet. The prayers we're still praying. The doors we're still hoping will open. The dreams that still feel far away.

But if we paused for a moment, we'd realize that some of the things we now call "normal" were once the very things we asked God for.

Gratitude doesn't stop us from dreaming bigger. It simply reminds us not to overlook today's blessings while reaching for tomorrow's.

This month, may our hearts become quicker to say, "Thank You, Lord."

This one will be long, but please read till the end❤

Maybe this month's GeeGee's Musings is a little different.

Lately, the world has felt heavy.

Every day seems to bring another difficult story. Another tragedy. Another reason to grieve. We scroll through our phones and are met with news that breaks our hearts. We hear stories that make us pause, pray, and wonder how much more people can carry.

And if we're honest, it has been hard not to feel affected by it all.

Even when it is not happening directly to us, we feel the weight of it. The uncertainty. The fear. The questions. The quiet ache of watching so much pain unfold around us.

Sometimes the burden is not just our personal struggles. Sometimes it is carrying the sorrow of a world that feels bruised.

Yet, in the middle of all of this, God remains.

Not because the pain is imagined.
Not because the losses are insignificant.
Not because everything is suddenly okay.

But because He has not changed.

Scripture reminds us that Jesus is "the same yesterday and today and forever" (Hebrews 13:8).

The same God who sees every tear still sees.
The same God who comforts still comforts.
The same God who protects, strengthens, and carries His people still does.

There are seasons when faith feels like moving mountains. And there are seasons when faith simply looks like refusing to lose hope.

Perhaps this is one of those seasons.

A season to keep showing up.
To keep loving.
To keep believing that darkness will not have the final word.

Because no matter how loud fear becomes, it will never be louder than God's faithfulness.

No matter how uncertain tomorrow feels, God is already there.

And no matter how heavy the days become, we are not carrying them alone.

We may not understand everything happening around us.
We may not have answers for every question.

But we know this:

God is still good.
God is still present.
God is still faithful.

So for now, let's hold on to that.

Let's keep trusting.

Let's keep praying.

Let's keep believing.

2 weeks after and i'm back😅

P&E Wedding Series 3(Geegee's POV): The Finale

The white wedding really felt like the final chapter of it all…the point where the music, excitement, planning and celebrations slowly settled, and the reality finally whispered, “your sister is now a wife… and she’s relocating too” 🥹

It was such a beautiful day from start to finish.
I got to serenade her as she walked down the aisle, say the toast at the reception, dance with her, laugh with her, and just fully be present through every moment 🤍

During the church ceremony, there was a point where we were asked to wave the couple goodbye, next thing, my makeup had smeared a bit and honestly… I still don’t know how that happened 🌚

Very mysterious behavior, if you ask me 🥲

One thing about us though, distance has never really changed our relationship. We’ve always found our way back to each other through every season of life, and by God’s grace, this new chapter will be no different.

Honestly, being part of every moment in this season , from the planning to the dancing is something I’ll always hold close to my heart 🤍

P&E Wedding Series 2 (Geegee's POV): Bridal Shower Moments ✨

Sometime last year, my sister said she wanted something simple “just a girls’ hangout… gist, laughter, good vibes, nothing too much.”

Such a soft request… but this is also someone who planned her own wedding 😭
(yes — traditional, white, everything. An actual event planner @joshelevents )

So you can already imagine the pressure 🥲
As one of her wedding coordinators, I knew this was one thing we had to get right.

My sister @bless_ezinne and I really put our heads together on this one, because how do you plan a bridal shower for someone who does this for a living? 😭

But shoutout to her girls❤
Everyone showed up, pulled their weight, and made it happen.

And the best part?
After everything, she said it turned out exactly how she wanted it 🥹
That right there… was the real win
Grateful for the trust, the teamwork, and the love that filled that room ❤
It was simple, intentional, and full of joy, just like she asked. by @raregheena

P&E Wedding Series 1 (Geegee's POV): Traditional Marriage🤍

I got to experience my sister @_ememprecious become a wife 🥹🤍

From “just girls” to a full bride… life really didn’t whisper, it moved fast.

The 3rd Saturday in April held everything, joy, small tears, deep gratitude, and plenty “God, thank You” moments.

Family everywhere, old friends reconnecting like no time had passed, love in every corner… it truly felt like a full movie.

And honestly, being there through all the years and present for such a defining moment, not watching from afar, but experiencing it all in real time, meant everything to me.

My sister was celebrated loud and proud, just as she deserves! ❤
