The real reason I come to work at 8 is so I can get a lift pic 😌📸

The clear hero of this year’s wardrobe is the Matilda skirt from @varietyhour_- an absolute workhorse, they weren’t lying when they said it’s a pair of jeans but a skirt.

Too many knit and crochet pieces to go into details about them all but just ask if you want to know (I’m also slowly uploading all my projects on ravelry). If it’s crochet it’s probably a @honsedesign pattern.

So so excited to have my Hatman cardigan finished!!! As soon as Moa designed this I had this exact outfit planned and it’s so fun to finally be able to wear it.

Even cuter my pink ties are made out of scraps from Moa’s version, so our cardigans are forever linked 🥰🫶🏻

Yarn: Kit Couture Blow, in shade sky blue, kindly sponsored by @kitcouturecph - held double on 8mm hook. This yarn is so pretty and light. Despite being held double this whole cardigan is only 600g 😮‼️

Winter so far has been full of food, music, and pretty winter skies. I’ve also come to the extremely bold conclusion that I love every season ☀️🍂❄️🌸

Just a girl single-handedly upholding the WA dairy industry during her first visit back in 5 years.

(Not pictured, the copious amounts of non-flavoured milk forms of dairy that I consumed, EXCEPT NO MUNDELLA DAIRY BC OFC THERE WAS A CREAM SHORTAGE THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS BACK DID I MENTION FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FIVE YEARS).

Belated birthday month 🎈!!! I love January so much !!

7: Finally finished my neon green fisherman’s sweater. Pattern is the Billie pullover by @sari_n_ and once again is hand dyed @honsedesign - bitchcoin colour in Aran weight. I’m wearing an ankle length dress that’s pink and green and as bright as a tennis ball. 🎾
8: Giant chocolate chip cookies. A new staple. YUM.
9: A pile of yarn 🧶 ready for my next major project. Hopefully will debut this winter but we will see.
10: I redid the downstairs! New layout and new (to me) furniture. Loving spending time downstairs now. by @rarings

Who run the world? Weird Barbies* 🎀♿️

It’s International Day of People with Disability and you should all tune in to the Disability Oration airing tonight on ABC at 5pm (or catch it on iview).

I was lucky enough to be there for the recording a few weeks ago and you all should take the time to hear Natalie Wade speak so powerfully about the need to end segregation in education, housing and employment. I hope you listen in and truly hear what Nat has to say. We need everyone involved to end segregation.

I’m so grateful to know so many incredible disabled advocates, all of whom are pushing hard for change that will benefit ALL of us.

This IDPWD I’m hoping that all of you live long enough to acquire disability through ageing. And when that happens I hope you can look back on how you helped us in making the world accessible.

An absolute dream to crochet. Maria’s videos were so helpful. I’m still in awe of the engineering of these beautiful crochet cables. They’re absolutely stunning.
