They’re held together by local selectors setting the tone, friends playing for friends, crews bringing their people through, and all of you who show up early because you know the night starts long before the peak hits.RASA has also always been more than a club..It’s a restaurant, a bar, a dancefloor, and a home for different communities to gather, eat, drink and move together!So come early. RASA x EN (縁) presents Henning Baer & Phil Berg | Sun, 9 Aug As Singapore marks National Day, RASA’s Floor turns its attention to another kind of gathering—one built around music, movement, and the communities that come alive after the fireworks fade.For one night only, Phil Berg (@philberg_) and Henning Baer (@henningbaer_) come together for a rare double-headliner. A resident of Amsterdam’s Vault Sessions, Berg has emerged as one of contemporary techno’s defining voices, crafting hypnotic, groove-led sets through releases on SK_Eleven, Phorum, Hayes, and Frenzy. Joining him is Baer, founder of Berlin’s influential Grounded Theory, whose expansive approach draws together techno, experimental electronics, and UK sounds into deeply immersive journeys behind the decks.Opening the night, Vix (@bellezibub) sets the tone with deeply personal selections that move fluidly between techno, house, bass, breaks, electro, and deconstructed club, always anchored by groove and percussion. She is followed by Odd (@oddmusica) B2B Aya (@a_y_a_n_o._), marking a long-awaited pairing between the eccentric, psychedelic sensibilities of Odd and EN founder Aya’s hypnotic, emotionally charged approach to techno. RASA presents Perc | Fri, 7 Aug Few artists have shaped contemporary techno quite like Perc (@perctrax). As the founder of Perc Trax and one of the genre’s most influential producers, he has spent more than two decades pushing dance music into darker, heavier, and more experimental territory—bridging industrial textures, uncompromising rhythms, and the physicality of the club.Whether through his own productions or the artists championed on Perc Trax, Perc has continually challenged the boundaries of techno while remaining firmly rooted in the dancefloor. His DJ sets reflect that same philosophy, moving effortlessly between cutting-edge productions, forgotten classics, and leftfield electronics to create something that feels both unpredictable and relentlessly propulsive.Setting the pace on Floor is Haan (@haan_303), whose selections trace the outer edges of techno through electro, breaks, and deep-rooted club sensibilities. Studio Monkey Shoulder LIVE is a vibrant celebration built around music, creative communities and exceptional drinks. Curated alongside British broadcaster Gilles Peterson and the team behind Worldwide FM, the series celebrates the venues, local communities, and selectors that keep club culture moving. For the Singapore edition, Monkey Shoulder partners with RASA to spotlight all forms of local, regional and international talent.Showcasing the richness and range of Singapore’s electronic music landscape, the night unites local favourites Daytime Dancing (@pic_niks) and RPDM (@rpdm.dj), each bringing their own unique take on contemporary dance music. Daytime Dancing is celebrated for his vibrant mix of Balearic, disco, house, and sun-drenched rhythms, while RPDM explores deeper, more hypnotic territory across house, progressive, minimal, and techno. In partnership with Fred Perry, supporting selected headlining acts as the series continues to grow.SCUMBOYS opened their doors to IDENTITÉ and invited us into a community they have been patiently building. The energy in the room was undeniable, but what stayed with me most was the sense of togetherness. Their performance wasn’t simply a showcase of music—it was a reflection of the people who have chosen to believe in what they are creating.I’ve known one of the members since before SCUMBOYS existed, so seeing that friendship evolve into a shared moment where IDENTITÉ could support the work they are doing with Tones+ and their artists felt quietly significant. Some things aren’t planned; they simply arrive when the time is right.I may not know this world of music intimately, but I recognise commitment when I see it. ICS AFTER PARTY AT RASA WITH PJENNÉ | 25 July, SaturdayAs the sun sets on the Field Trip, the ICS party (@icecreamsundays_) doesn’t stop, it’s moving straight to the dancefloor. To properly close out 10 Years of ICS, we’re taking over both rooms at RASA for the official afterparty.We’re excited to welcome Pjenné (@pjenneee), a master selector and storyteller from Naarm/Melbourne. Known for her thoughtful approach to the booth, her sets explore the deep threads between leftfield ambient, trance, and psychedelic electronica. Influenced by the expanses of the southern bush, she weaves rhythmic textures and brain-massaging narratives that invite you to drift away or get lost in the dance. Flanking her on the floor decks are local powerhouses Koonz (@_koonz) & Bongomann (@bongomann_). She first played at our 7th Anniversary party back in 2023 and we still can’t get that set out of our minds, absolute legend! Committed to exploring the space between the technical and emotional sides of electronic music, her sets are a masterclass.
