Carved from ancestral memory and sharpened in Oakland’s grassroots, “Scrollz Of Lion Rock” marks the 9th chamber in Ras Ceylon’s catalogue.

Named for #Sigiriya — the ancient Lion Rock of Sri Lanka — this album stands as both stronghold & scripture: a testament to endurance, lineage, and disciplined Hip-Hop.

I came up being inspired by what he built for the culture long before I ever stood beside him.

My bros @prodigalsunn + @cruise516 were there when I stepped into the cypher & Power alwayz supported what we building. He even helped select the beat for PSunn & I first collab #rebelontheroof 🫡✊🏾

All the worx I’ve done within the #WuTang Family since then is rooted in his solidarity. This foundation neva goes away..

When he asked to Executive Produce #ScrollzofLionRock a few wks ago, i was beyond honored..same humbling feeling ery time he posted me or promoted my music, which he did often @wutangbrand creating his own unique visualz🐝side!

His transition has rocked me to my core. I’m a mess right now if I’m being honest. Finding comfort by the fact he not in pain no mo, took his Shahada & passed during this holy month of Ramadan🤲🏾

I been looking thru 5yrs of messages..he only kept it💯i consistently updated him on my latest musical progress pertaining to the Family. Ery time he’d tell me the same things: “good sh*t beloved..keep working..stay focused” & other inspiring wordz of wisdom/encouragement..

I don’t share personal texts publicly but just a few dayz ago he was showing mo love than ANYONE for what I’m doing rite now📜🦁🪨

So I kno what I gotta due now..listen to big bro:

Today, July 23rd 2026 marks the 134th EarthStrong or birthday of His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie the 1st. Did you know that Emperor Haile Selassie I donated a school in his name to the people of Jamaica during his historic visit to the island visit in 1966?

60 years later, conscious Hiphop & reggae artists Ras Ceylon & Tuff Like Iron were honored to visit Haile Selassie High School in Kingston, Jamaica, to reason, teach and build with some of the young people attending summer school.

We spoke about elevating your purpose, the importance of education, and our own journeys through music, art and culture—encouraging the students to recognize their gifts and develop them into something meaningful.

We also built on Ethiopian and Rastafari history, the legacy of His Imperial Majesty, and the powerful historical and cultural connections between Ethiopia and Jamaica.

Tuff shared her journey through music, fashion and the art of crocheting, while Ras shared how Hip-Hop, education and his Sri Lankan heritage have shaped his own path.

Give thanks to Chaplain Ibby Lion, Principal Jones, and most importantly, all the brilliant students who welcomed us and shared this powerful reasoning.
