It’s official 🙌

We’re delighted to announce our official business partnership with @lincolncity_fc.

We’ve been considering this for some time, and with us celebrating our 40th year in business and also our involvement in the new development at the club, it felt like perfect timing!

Sadly our fourth director @mattboulton75 couldn’t make the official photos as he was away on site - keeping the cogs turning 🙌

We’re all incredibly excited about our involvement and look forward to the opportunities it may hold.

Of course we’re also looking forward to plenty of moments seeing the ball hit the back of the net this season ( no pressure lads 😉)

An insight into 40 years of Rase Steels from Founder & Director Rowley Boulton ⏱️

“In 1986, I decided to take the leap and resigned from RH & B Moncaster in Louth. After speaking with several companies, I had worked with during my time there, many agreed to give me the opportunity to supply them with materials. That encouragement gave me the confidence I needed to go out on my own.
I secured a £10,000 overdraft facility from the bank, with my mother kindly standing surety. As it turned out, I received two goods orders for sheeting in my very first week of trading, meaning the overdraft wasn’t needed at all.

I began operating from the old Station Goods Yard in Market Rasen – working with consignment stock from Brunel Steel Services Ltd. Those first two orders were placed by good friends, David Chamberlin at Sixhills & Nev Ward from Reepham.
From the earliest days, this was very much a family effort. My wife, Judy, and my mother would come in each week to clean the office. It truly was a family unit from the very beginning.

When my eldest son Matthew left school, I encouraged him to work independently and he started MB Fabrications. Later, we joined forces and worked together.
My youngest son James, earned a place at Lancaster University, but I persuaded him to defer for a year to work with us at Rase Steels. The arrangement worked so well that university was eventually set aside.
With the support of my sons and the strength of our family working together, Rase Steels grew and prospered — and the rest, as they say, is history.

It’s fantastic to be a thriving local business in Lincolnshire, but it’s equally rewarding to have supplied projects much further afield — from Stornoway in the far north of Scotland to Gibraltar in the south, including supplying sheet materials for the nuclear submarine dock there, which I would personally consider one of my greatest achievements of sheet supplies.

There are many people to thank over the past 40 years — especially the suppliers who trusted me from the very start. Without our hardworking team and our loyal customers, there would be no business. For that, we owe them our sincere thanks.”

Another big push on this agricultural grain store store project yesterday 🚜

With the recent temperatures bringing harvest forward, the pressure has been on to get valuable storage space ready for a client. That’s EXACTLY what we’ve been working towards 👏

The guys have worked tirelessly to keep things moving and up to full speed .

We’re really pleased with what’s been achieved so far. Every long day is another step closer to handing over ahead of schedule.

Progress doesn’t happen by accident - it happens through hard work, teamwork, and getting the job done 👊

🚁 Team RS flying into August...

With a real variety of projects keeping us all busy.

We’re currently working on our second helicopter hangar, this one in the south of the country. Meanwhile closer to home we’re kicking off the week with another lorry load of steel heading to site to begin a new high-level steel structure.

@lincolncity_fc we’re putting the finishing touches to our part of the project with more of the iconic red steel, intricate flashings, detailing and final finishes that help bring everything together. (a big shout out to the team at Gen2 Energy) they’ve been great to work alongside and are doing an outstanding job of getting this project over the finish line.

One trend we’ve really noticed is the growth in the leisure sector. We’re currently delivering two padel courts and a new play barn, alongside our agricultural new builds. It feels like more and more clients are looking to diversify and invest in making the most of their sites.

We’re delighted to be working for Gen2 Energy & Construction on the new Lincoln City FC Fan Zone at the LNER Stadium ⚽

While a significant amount of design, detailing and preparation has been taking place behind the scenes over the past few weeks, we’re now preparing to head to site on Monday as the project moves into its next phase.

With a very tight programme in place, we’ve pulled out all the stops to ensure we’re ready to deliver to the highest standard within the required timeframe. It’s been a fast-paced start, but one we’ve fully embraced.

This project means a great deal to us. As a Lincolnshire-based family business and with so many of our team being passionate supporters of Lincoln City, it’s a real honour for Rase Steels Construction & Civils Ltd to be joining forces with @gen2energy
to support our local club @lincolncity_fc and contribute to something that holds such importance for both the club and the wider community.

Working alongside Phil & Neil at Gen 2 has been a pleasure so far, and we’re looking forward to building strong foundations for a great working relationship moving forward.

We can’t wait to get moving on Monday ⚽️ taken in Lincoln City Football Club by @rasesteelsltd
