On this day one year ago...I was on a journey to Bethlehem, I saw a sign that said road to Damascus and it made me think about Paul. Little did I know how much that sign would impact my spiritual journey on this trip and life moving forward. It made me think about Paul’s testimony to King Agrippa and Bernice when he was on trial (Act 26). How Paul stated “what was done to him on the road to Damascus wasn’t done in corner”. King Agrippa reply was “Paul you almost persuaded me to become a worker for Christ” as we approached the Jordan River. It made me think how God has not blessed me in a corner or privately nor is “almost” good enough. To be in a place where John baptized Jesus, I knew to be baptized again in this sacred place was a calling by God to be present in the moment. That’s wasn’t a “planned” moment but me letting go and allowing myself to be in the moment with God. taken in Jordan River by @rashaddelph
