Year ✌🏾at Tribeca Fest and the 25th year of the festival. I had so many artist date nights.

I love hearing the process behind the project and being apart of history. From seeing the Lox perform live, celebrating ten years since A Seat at the Table dropped and learning about a farm trying to create generational wealth for their family.

If I told you about my last few months you wouldn’t believe me.

Writing has been my main outlet to get my thoughts out, fight anxiety as I wait for the other shoe to drop. I’m thankful for friends who have been an ear to my cries, pain and challenges over the past few months. Thankful for my gym membership that allows me to dance the pain away and the opportunity to just escape.

If you’re going through hard times as many of us are (in this economy 😤) know that you’re not alone, feel the feelings (especially if it’s rage), find what works for you, writing helps me to escape when friends aren’t available, nature walks to start my mornings and moving my body because the body keeps the score. 🧘🏾‍♀️ by @rashebaaa

my first Tribeca is a wrap 🎬

that’s my favorite thing about life and living in nyc you can never stop having firsts. every night was an artist date night for me. i was able to enjoy screenings, premieres and hearing from the director/cast members left me inspired for my own creative projects. here are a few of my favorite screenings.
