rast. Gallery’de düzenlenen “Üçgen: Bir Diyalog” sergisinin ikinci edisyonu, üç farklı iş birliğinden doğan diyaloglar etrafında kurgulanıyor. Bu üçgenlerden birini Öner Kocabeyoğlu ve Melis Bektaş ile birlikte oluşturan sanatçı Şule Nur Alev; ağırlıklı olarak kâğıt üzerine kurşun kalem ve grafitle ürettiği desenlerinde hafıza, mekân ve kişisel deneyim arasındaki ilişkileri araştırıyor.

İnce detaylara, tekrara ve yoğunlaşmaya dayanan çalışma yöntemiyle mimari parçaları, mekanik formları ve gündelik nesneleri tanıdık bağlamlarından uzaklaştırarak yeni görsel ilişkiler kuruyor. Çizgilerin yoğunluğu, ton geçişleri ve yüzeyde yarattığı derinlik, iki boyutlu imgeleri hacim ve ölçek algısının belirsizleştiği alanlara dönüştürüyor. Rüyalardan, çocukluk anılarından ve çevresinde karşılaştığı ayrıntılardan beslenen bu desenler, hafızanın sabit bir kaydından çok, sürekli yeniden kurulan kişisel bir haritalandırma pratiğine işaret ediyor.

The second edition of the exhibition “Üçgen: Bir Diyalog,” hosted at rast. Gallery, is constructed around dialogues emerging from three distinct collaborations. Forming one of these triangles alongside Öner Kocabeyoğlu and Melis Bektaş, artist Şule Nur Alev explores the relationships between memory, space, and personal experience primarily through her drawings produced with pencil and graphite on paper.

Through a working method grounded in intricate details, repetition, and concentration, she removes architectural elements, mechanical forms, and everyday objects from their familiar contexts to establish new visual relationships. The density of lines, tonal transitions, and the depth created on the surface transform two-dimensional images into realms where the perception of volume and scale becomes blurred. Nourished by dreams, childhood memories, and details encountered in her surroundings, these drawings point not to a fixed record of memory, but rather to a personal mapping practice that is constantly being reconstructed. by @rast.gallery

Beyoğlu Pera’da yer alan rast. GALLERY olarak, çağdaş sanat sahnesine yeni bir işbirliği modeli sunan “ÜÇGEN: Bir Diyalog” serisinin ikinci edisyonunun kapılarını açtık.

Konsept ve proje yönetimi Derya Yücel tarafından kurgulanan ÜÇGEN II, sanatçı, küratör ve koleksiyonerden oluşan üç aktör aracılığıyla sanat üretimini görünür kılan sürdürülebilir bir sergi modeli öneriyor.

ÜÇGEN, koleksiyonerlerin sezgisel vizyonunu küratörlerin düşünsel çerçevesiyle buluştururken, bağımsız sanatçılara görünürlük ve üretim desteği sunmayı; aynı zamanda sanat ekosistemi içinde kalıcı bir diyalog alanı yaratmayı hedefliyor.

TRIANGLE II: A Dialogue is now open.
At rast. GALLERY, located in Pera, Beyoğlu, we have opened the second edition of “TRIANGLE: A Dialogue,” an exhibition series proposing a new model of collaboration within the contemporary art scene.

Curated and project-managed by Derya Yücel, TRIANGLE II brings together three key actors — the artist, the curator, and the collector — making artistic production visible through a sustainable model of collaboration.

TRIANGLE brings the intuitive vision of collectors into dialogue with the conceptual frameworks of curators, while providing visibility and production support for independent artists and creating a lasting space for dialogue within the art ecosystem.
