Reintroducing Ra Kazadi, @ra5un, before our event with Centre, @centretx on Saturday, 7-10pm. Artist, designer and Co-Founder of Nostalgia and Noise.

“I feel like my role is doing what my mentors did for me, which is fostering creativity in any form that I get it. And sometimes that’s my own creativity, and sometimes that’s others. And that’s what Nostalgia and Noise is to me. Is a chance to kind of give back and be a mentor to creatives, while also, you know, getting my 10,000 hours in.”

Have been dreaming this up for a few months!

@by.threads.and.pieces and I collaborated by:

1. I painted a huge leather hide with a few athletes and personalities I respect from Rodman to Sweet Pea and some of my favorite sculptures from Michelangelo like “Moses”.

2. @by.threads.and.pieces cut them all using his custom templates and went crazy with different color stitching and premium leather, all handmade. Have been wanting to work with a craftsman for a long time and excited this first shot went so well.

Every single cardholder/wallet is different, between stitching, the part of the painting that’s used, to the human touches that make them custom. All 1/1.

Each painting makes 25 wallets so it'll be different each time, and have a different theme each drop. Check out the link in my bio to purchase or look around. 🎨
