So here we have the next video for our new double A side single!
Like the video for the flip side, we opted for spontaneous live performance rather than miming to a tune.
This apocalyptic little number features our special guest @emilybreeze66 on vocals as well old pal Joe @therhynes Atkinson helping us out on synth and shooting the whole thing on a phone whilst playing.
We present for your pleasure
DIRTY RIVER!
Out NOW on Spinout Nuggets!

For this video -one of the two songs on our new double A side single, rather than mime to the record, we decided to play it live and just shoot it straight. We don't play many gigs, so this is just us blasting through it at a rehearsal, having fun being us playing music. No A.I. No edits. In all it's unadorned glory, here is the video for
...And Garnish With A Fresh Tarantula!

The record is available right now from Spinout Nuggets

Well just in case you missed it, here's a little taster of a new video that is live for you to watch NOW over on the Big YT. Link in bio, natch. This song, called Too Much Time, features lead vocals by the very wonderful Yoshiko "Ronnie" Fujiyama from the 5,6,7,8's. Backing vocals from Akiko Omo, also from the 5,6,7,8's.
It is from our album The Long Slow Death Of A Cigarette on Cleopatra records. If you've never seen Rat Scabies yoyo-ing before (amongst other things), then this is your moment.

We're deeply grateful to @vivelerockmag for both the great review of our new album AND a fabulous review of our first EVER live gig!
Yes you can vaguely read some of the text in these photos, but please support print magazines by actually buying them if you can.

If you haven't heard our new record, you might not know that the great Kid Congo Powers sang a fabulous lead vocal on our song The Colonel. Listen to it! His performance is magical, sinister & delicious,- of course it is! Anyway, we surprised him today at his book signing at Rough Trade West to say Hi. He's playing in Oslo tonight. No, not that one, the one in Hackney, east London, with his band The Pink Monkey Birds. Go & see them. Anyway, here's some surprised looking gents in a record shop just off the Portobello Road.

Welcome again to Sinclairs Island. If you didn't know, we will be playing a proper gig at the Lexington on 12th September with @ralfe_band . Our second ever gig! This time with added luxury appointments such as a proper P.A. n lights n everything. We don't do this sort of thing very often. Also we shall be auctioning our used nightmares/dreams/visions for profit to any survivors at the end of the evening. Cast aside your delusions of shame & join us. They even have moisturiser in the gents toilet, this being Islington. What's not to like?💘

Here's a little souvenir video put together from audience footage of the Sinclairs' first EVER live gig at The Brewery Tap pub in west London! Special thanks to Elizabeth Westwood for joining us on vocals for a couple of songs, & to Joe Atkinson from The Rhynes/Neville Staple Band/Flipron for playing organ & synth bass with us. Audio is just from people's phones. Thank you everyone who sent us in footage. If you would like to hear us play properly mixed through a P.A. then come & see us at the Lexington in London on 12th September!
