The only sounds that accompany us are the sound of bombs and the eyes of our mothers, reddened by sleeplessness and grief.🥺

Every day we run in search of shelter, but where is safety in a land burned? We play among the rubble, we write the names of our friends on the destroyed walls, hoping that memory will do them justice when death takes them.

We don't want anything complicated, just a moment of calm, a place to draw without the ink mixing with blood. We want to return to our schools, to our small beds, to hear a laugh that isn't interrupted by a missile.😣

In Gaza, we don't just live through war; we live through loss, hunger, cold, and betrayal. But despite the pain, there is still a sliver of hope in our hearts, of life, of dreams of a world that hears our cries and extends a hand instead of turning a blind eye."
