✨ Chocolate Mousse has come to Bath!! ✨ I just love a chocolate mousse, so when I found out @neuhauschocolates was serving takeaway chocolate mousse from their gorgeous shop on Milsom street, I just had to try it! There's three flavours to choose from, dark 76%, milk 35% and white vanilla, plus three toppings including raspberry, caramel and caramelised almonds! I had to have the dark with nuts, because it's an absolute classic combo, it was very rich and super creamy! I went to similar place in Paris earlier on in the year and thought it was such a great concept, especially as I much prefer a dessert like this to ice cream! So if you're a chocolate lover, or simply exploring the beautiful city of Bath and fancy a deliciously indulgent sweet treat, head here for one of these!!!! This is your sign to visit Bath and enjoy a beautiful day out in this magical city! ☀️🤍🌷💫 If you're heading here soon, or planning a day trip, these are some of my all time favourite places that you should explore, drink and eat at when you visit! ✨ @mokokobakery - the best almond croissants, fantastic for morning pastries and coffee overlooking the Abbey. ✨ @cortadobath - the cutest little cafe and my favourite place for brunch and coffee, order the pistachio pancakes because they are incredible! ✨ @bathboatingstation - hire a boat and row up the river, explore Sydney gardens afterwards and then head along Great Pultney Street back towards town! ✨ @landracebakery - for some wholesome sweet treats and the most beautiful bakery items! ✨ @walcotbath - for lunch or dinner this is one my favourite spots for food, they do great cocktails too and the best chocolate and peanut dessert that you must try! ✨ @theovenpizzeria - for a casual lunch or dinner, this is a great sourdough pizza spot with loads of delicious toppings! ✨ @hallandwoodhouse_bath - this is the only rooftop bar in town, so if you want to sit in the sun and grab a drink this is the place. ✨ @bathabbey - the most iconic part of the city! Wander inside, and take in all of the history!! ✨ @montagusmews - visit the Royal Crescent, enjoy the wonderful architecture and stop in for a drink at this gorgeous place! ✨ @theromanbaths and @thepumproomrestaurant - head here for a glass of @searcyslondon sparkling wine, have a cream tea if you're visiting in the afternoon, then enjoy the famous Roman Baths! Hidden outdoor terrace in Bristol ✨ Did you know about this incredible space to eat and drink outside on Gloucester Road? Well you do now, and if like me you've been coming here for years and always eaten inside, I can confirm it's like being in a completely different restaurant and I loved it! Beautiful views of the blue skies, trees and the church, plus fantastic food and juices as always @lona.grillhouse_juicebar 🔥 This place has always been a favourite of mine and now you can enjoy the gorgeous weather here too! I always order the meats, both chicken and lamb or the Lona round one, but there's plenty of seafood options on the menu as well, and you have to try the lamb Arayes!! Sundays @correstaurant ✨🤍 Last weekend we enjoyed a delicious sunday lunch on North Street at this iconic restaurant in Bristol! We had the dry aged Hereford beef sirloin, served with red wine jus, a Savoury canelé filled with beetroot & horseradish, as well as the salt marsh lamb rump, served with lamb jus, plus a Savoury canelé filled with pea & mint, both roasts came with with confit garlic and thyme roast potatoes, hispi cabbage and sand carrots cooked over fire along with seasonal greens in beurre noisette! Everything was super tasty and really delicious as you would expect! The fat on the beef was fantastic and it was cooked to absolute perfection, my favourite thing from the meal for sure. For dessert, we finished with their sticky toffee pudding and salted butter caramel ice cream! New Brunch Spot in Bristol!! ✨🤍 This gorgeous tapas restaurant located on the harbourside is now serving a brand new brunch menu Wednesday to Sunday and it is delicious!!! There's classics like smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs, which we really enjoyed, along with omelettes and crepes, american style pancakes, great iced coffee plus their prawns from the usual menu but served in a toasted brioche bun, which we loved as they are something I would normally order here when we've visited for dinner in the past, and you can't forget the cheesecake, my absolute favourite and a must order for dessert! If the weather is good, make sure to sit outside too because this place honestly feels like you're abroad when you're in the sun enjoying food and drinks alfresco, such a fantastic spot by the water but easy to miss as it's located on Hannover quay away from the main road! We were kindly invited in to try the new dishes @newmoononthequay but we've been here many times before and we always enjoy! New Brunch Specials in Bristol ✨ My favourite brunch spot has got two new dishes on the menu, so I had to give them a try last week, if you've eaten here before you'll know how good this spot it, whether I go for the mushrooms with poached eggs or their incredible scrambled eggs, it's consistently delicious in here! I had the 'Nduja on sourdough topped with creamy mushrooms, Parmesan and eggs, plus their new sweet addition, ricotta beignets with vanilla mascarpone and cherry jam, basically soft fluffy sugary donuts, both beautiful new additions that I loved! ✨ New Sunday Roast Spot in Bath ✨ Tucked away in the heart of the city you'll find this gorgeous new restaurant! This is the second opening behind the team who run @chequersbath somewhere we've always enjoyed eating at, so we were excited to be invited in to try their Sunday lunch! We had the roast beef and porchetta which come together cooked to perfection and both delicious, it came with crispy pave potatoes, my favourite, plus all the veggies, yorkshire puddings and gravy, we also had the fire roasted monkfish tail with a tikka masala butter, which is available on their normal menu, and it was also fantastic!!! We enjoyed the Burnt Basque cheesecake served with a Pedro Ximenez reduction and their sticky toffee madelines with salted caramel for dessert, the perfect way to end the meal! Specialising in steaks and meats, you can also get a sharing steak for your roast if you prefer, with a great wine list and beautiful cocktails too, I think this is a wonderful addition to the food and drink scene here! @bathchophouse is situated down Northumberland Place, or you can get to it from the Corridor, so it's right in the middle of town but very easy to miss!! We will definitely be returning to try more from the menu as we had a lovely time on our visit! The Best Cafe in the Cotswolds ✨🤍🌿 If you haven't been to this spot in Cirencester yet, then you need to visit before the end of the year, they won best cafe a few months back and they've got a brand new menu with these insanely good breakfast buns, plus there's eggs bennys and this eggs royale which is always fantastic, especially as they make their own hollandaise sauce, which so many places don't these days, and you can always taste the difference! They also have a full English, veggie breakfast and other delicious things available! If you're heading here for lunch, you've got to try the chicken Caesar salad, up there with the very best, just look at all that Parmesan! There's also great coffee from @ritualroasters too! Summer Sundays ✨🌿☀️ Did you know you can sit outside of @pasture_bristol and enjoy one of their delicious roast dinners alfresco? We tucked into their roast beef, served with all the trimmings, as well as their seasonal fish dish that was on the menu, and of course we had to order a Mac and cheese to go with it all!! We then finished off with their cheesecake topped with strawberries for dessert too which was great, and had a really lovely family meal!! If you can get a table outside I really recommend as it was such a different dining experience to sitting in the main restaurant and in the sunshine you can't beat it! Plus there won't be too many days left to enjoy food and drinks outside as we head into autumn next month! Check in to the Chapel this Summer ✨ Tucked away on the high street in Bruton you will find this gorgeous restaurant, hotel and bakery!! ✨ Known for its bread and freshly baked pastries, I had been here before for brunch and always enjoyed but had no idea there were boutique bedrooms and suites that you could stay in, providing you with the ultimate Somerset staycation that is perfect for foodies, gallery and garden lovers! 🌿 We enjoyed dinner alfresco on arrival in their hidden little terrace area at the back of chapel which was a beautiful relaxed spot for summer, we ordered bread, prawns and a chicken caesar to start, followed by the steak and a burger, along with the special blackberry Eton mess dessert and the basque cheesecake to finish, which was fantastic 💫 The main restaurant, which is the converted chapel itself is just wow, such a stunning location to dine and drink at, the interiors are like no other place I've been to and it's so unique, make sure to take the winding staircase and have a look upstairs, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast in here in the morning, the atmosphere was busy and buzzy yet still super relaxed!! The salmon and avocado with eggs was delicious as well as the full breakfast. There's fresh juices and great coffee too! ☕️ As for the rooms we stayed in a spacious, comfy suite wonderfully decorated which had its own entrance, along with seating area, aircon and the biggest bed! You can stay in the chapel itself too, but as with all of @stayoriginalcompany hotels I cannot fault the experience, clean, comfortable and every detail thought of, from cookies on arrival to complimentary croissants delivered to the the door when you wake up in the morning 🥐 Such a dreamy location to spend 24 hours at, with everything in one place and plenty to visit nearby @atthechapel is another stunning UK staycation and food spot to add to your list to visit this year, save for later, check it out and enjoy 🤍 (Invite) #somerset #bakery #uniquehotels #staycation #chapel taken in Bruton, Somerset by @ratheryummy
