Aiming to make Mental Health Care Services more accessible
POSTS STORIES REELS
Hosting mental health workshops, in Ashara Mubaraka and Iste'faadah Ilmiyah this year, for our young children and women reminded me of one big truth: "Healing happens in community" From teaching the young ones how to navigate big emotions, practice mindfulness in daily life, and building resilience through movement -- to -- helping women understand their mental needs, providing them safe emotional space where mental wellness is not seen as luxury, but a priority, and teaching them effective tools to thrive •• I have learnt that when we empower mothers, caregivers, and kids together, the future gets so much brighter and happier and calmer! ✨ This WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY, let us welcome all emotions and feelings in a safe way.. and hold space for each other in our own communities and tribes too! I pledge to make mental health more accessible, and utilise my 'hunar' and expertise to bring in more awareness, understanding and empathy around the issues of mental health - one workshop at a time!! #worldmentalhealthday by @rationally.psyched
