@visitoppdal we have been here several days now. Oppdal is very authentic in the sense that everything here is very rough but also very beautiful..... The surroundings are amazing and many parts of the resort seems great.... In many ways we really like it here. Also seems they try to balance the ressources spent to run the resort as here are not many guests - even it is one of the most busy times in many resorts in Norway, but the issue seen from our perspective that they spent the ressources in the wrong places..... E.g in Vangslia they run a really long t-bar that no one uses and at the same time there is no services in Ådalen and just one in Stølen meaning that a lot of the high altitude offpiste is not accessible to e.g. us as a family as we do not all carry safety equipment and therefore do not go outside areas of the lift-system.... And since we had 2 days with really warm temperatures and now back to low temps all lower parts are really not good.outside the pists. The pists are most places really good except from some.parts with big loose snowballs.
