There Will Be A Day

The second installment in my senior thesis, “Fleeting Moments”, is a self portrait in fragments, representing an incomplete version of myself as I currently am. People are constantly evolving and becoming. How we look, feel, and think changes over time. We look back on photos and memories and think of how different things are now. This piece is a reflection of a current moment and how it evolves into a memory.

A Mother’s Love Never Fades

The first piece in my senior collection, Fleeting Moments, is a homage to my mom. Some memories wear down with time, while others stay constant. This piece is an exploration of that permanence. Created with screen print on silk organza, the materials help shape the story as silk is a delicate and translucent fabric, revealing only a thin layer of imagery. Memory is similar, as it’s fragile and fleeting. These memories with my mom and I are imprinted in my mind forever, following every version of myself. In my thesis, inspired by the fleeting nature of time, she is constant.

WETSAND x RATSTUDIO
I am so excited to reveal this student collaboration Noah and I have been working on.
I made this yardage last quarter in my screen printing class when I was working on themes regarding childhood to adulthood. I knew I wanted to make something with it, thus this jacket was born. Noah was working on similar themes as me, and we discussed an oversize jacket that resembles those that we wore as kids. The details such as large, mix-matched buttons, shoe lace strings, and velcro exemplify this idea of a childlike jacket. Huge thanks to Noah for making this jacket come to fruition through designing and sewing! by @ratstudioo

My sample collection for FIBR 205: Sewing Technology!
I based this project on photos of the moon, and decided to go from the farthest part of the moon (upper left) to the closest (middle down) and its craters! Such a wonderful project ! #lovesewing #moonisawesomeeee by @ratstudioo

Been experimenting with photos & layers in screen print class.
Trying to do a project on childhood to adulthood and how my art has transformed over time, it’s been cool to let loose a little bit and just experiment with messiness and shapes! 😊

I am so pleased to finally announce my joint collaboration with @lovenmoxie !! This has been months in the making and has truly been such an incredible experience for me to learn more about the ins & outs of working with another business and to gain more of an understanding of how certain businesses run. Tote bag 2!!!
I used the same broken pointed twill pattern but used red and a black stripe on one side and vice versa on the other. So excited to share with you all ❤️
