Summer semester wasn’t so bad after all by @raul_deu

Going to school for engineering you will be introduced to FSAE, it is important you take that opportunity.

What an amazing season and competition with a fantastic group of talented people to develop the first fully electric race car in the university’s history.

Told myself I needed to buy a practical daily driver… and in typical fashion I did anything but that.

Here is my new to me 1990 Miata A-package. This one is a true survivor with only 63k km, completely rust free and owned by an older gentleman since 1994. Funny enough the first owner was Queen Elizabeth under the Department of Transportation for Canada, I didn’t believe it until I read the title for the first owner haha.

No I didn’t sell the Z, it’s still in hibernation while I collect a few more parts to make it a bit more Stancy pants.

Bring back 90s Japanese style with good fitment, good wheels, and proper lip kits.

Over the past few years I’ve attended @wekfest_usa as a spectator, and every year it has always been the one show that motivated me the most to do better on my own builds.

This year being invited to showcase my own build amongst the best of the best that the PNW has to offer was such a rewarding experience words cannot explain.

Thank you to everyone who lent a hand or gave me positive encouragement to bring my vision of the Z to life over the past few, this was truly the best motoring show the PNW offers.

Forever grateful @wekfest_usa @wekfest_japan

2024 has been another amazing year, not only for me growing personally as I enter my 20s, but also my engineer schooling, and my maturity in the automotive scene.

I’ve learned so much this year it’s hard to write out everything but I’m extremely proud and thankful for everything that’s happened and the amazing people I met / stood with me this year.

This year definitely was not easy by any means, mainly with school, but I’m extremely grateful for the bright people I get to call my friends who suffered day in and day out with me.

My focus for 2024 in the automotive scene was to mature my own build, but also further improve my skill set from dialling in wheel fitment, to full on engine tear downs. I can confidently say I met this goal.

2025 is only up from here. I’m extremely excited for what’s to come both in my personal life but my automotive passion. by @raul_deu
