The weather did not disappoint last week ☀️ always a good time to sneak away to Santa Monica Beach.

Great hotel location just steps from the beach. Jogging on the boardwalk and then my favorite post workout treat fresh cut fruit 🤙💪🏼🙌🏻

Grateful for moments like this. The hotel even had a non alcoholic option to greet us.

Day 3 of 365.
One post a day until I turn 50.

This year isn’t about pressure.
It’s about preparation.

Preparing my health.
My mindset.
My vitality.
My nervous system.
My joy.

This weekend was my birthday weekend — and yes, I had an eye situation that could’ve easily taken me out of the moment.

But I chose presence over perfection.

We went to see Absinthe in Las Vegas — bold, wild, unforgettable — and I didn’t let discomfort steal the celebration. I stayed grounded. I stayed grateful. I stayed here.

This is what optimal health really looks like to me now:
Not pretending everything is perfect.
But honoring my body and my life at the same time.

I’m learning how to listen more deeply.
How to recover faster.
How to celebrate myself without waiting for ideal conditions.

Fifty isn’t something I’m approaching quietly.
It’s something I’m arriving prepared for.

More strength.
More softness.
More discernment.
More life.

365 days.
One embodied choice at a time.

Haven’t posted in quite some time but this sunset yesterday demanded to be captured. I did my best and I can tell you none of the pictures were filtered. The colors were incredible!

Had fun at the F1 arcade with simulators. Pro tip: don’t think you can drive and select anything more challenging than the 2nd easiest setting. Super rough!

If you find this deck just outside the arcade consider yourself lucky 😳😎

Reading the book Autobiography of a Yogi and decided to stop and appreciate this incredible garden that Paramahansa Yogananda created.

Gina and I have driven past this place a hundred times and we can’t believe we never stopped to appreciate it.

We definitely recommend enjoying this beautiful and peaceful place. Free to enter just leave a donation.
