@squishybilly and I went on vacation to Carlsbad CA for our birthday weekend. All of these pictures are phone pics btw.
Also the pic of the drinks is cool but i didn't like the taste. by @raunchyy_p

Worked on the GTO some more today. I think we pretty much finally got to the point where i won't need to tear it apart completely to modify anything, so hopefully it's just smooth assembly from here on. Knock on wood bruh i want to cry.
Check out the cat prints that are all over my car now from sitting so long.

I recently wished for a punching dummy thing for christmas, but i didn't get one... so i went and got one for myself at a garage sale for $10!
He's not the greatest condition but he'll get the job done! by @raunchyy_p

So recently I started putting my engine together after i had gotten all of my parts needed to reassemble it. First pic is obvi the rods and pistons which was where we ended building because I tried putting the pistons in the cylinders and they were too big. I had/ have a few options from there- I could bore it to the size of the pistons or send it back and have them send the correct ones which could take who knows how long... so i gave my block to a local machine shop to have them bore it out and then the guy calls me the next day to say he can't do it because of the webbing at the bottom of the cylinders. So now im going to try and send the pistons back to the company. Second pic is when we washed the block ft. Dog. And the third pic is is just before where we got in the building process before we had to tear it all back apart again. Long story short- this engine is very much testing my love for cars.

If i could have one thing for Christmas this year it would be one of these punching dummies. I want it for times like right now when i have an infinite amount of frustration and when working on my car. Especially while working on the car because it's still not working(properly) yet after trying to fix it like 4 times now. Probably going to make a depressing post after this one eventually.

Finally got my intake manifold a friend. Now it's all set up and ready to put on the engine but im waiting on a lifter and pushrods... again. by @raunchyy_p

Finally making steps again toward fixing it yet again. My progress: pushing it out of the street and in the driveway. This thing has been fun but also a depressing nightmare. We "fixed" it from my whole cam engine rebuild/ pushrod disaster problem but apparently not because something happened with it when i was leaving a carshow and it made sounds that weren't regular or in regular order so I shut it off asap and got it towed home. It was sitting in front of my house from the tow for many weeks now. Ive been super sad because of it and haven't been able to throw down a bunch of money to fix it again along with other things like COVID scares. Still debating on "third time's the charm" or if i should have a shop do it. It's been frustrating, but tonight i saw too many car boiz and thought i should at least do something. Here it is. Also it's been too damn hot to work on it ugh. by @raunchyy_p
