Every dream comes true....Owls/Owlets have always been the favorite raptors to be clicked by every photographer.. big attractive eyes... Round head, stout shape usually stable if not disturbed, these birds are a diamond to watch ... But for Jungle Owlet.... I was never lucky to get a decent photograph of this small wonder even after searching every western ghat jungle for 8 years.... Managed to get a half decent shot thanks to Vimal ar Thattekad....But dreams test our patience and at times come true in double.......Got this pair right opposite @aviantrails homestay at Kaladhungi... Silent, wise, and utterly captivating. 🦉✨Owls are undoubtedly some of the most fascinating raptors out there. Between those massive, soulful eyes, the sharp beak, and those famous, mesmerizing head tilts, they never fail to amaze a wildlife lover (even if they are a bit misunderstood by others!).Did you know India is home to around 36 owl species?
