On Saturday, September 19th, Zero passed away peacefully. I had been dreading this day for the longest time because it meant losing my best friend. Although I’m heartbroken, I’m at peace because he’s no longer in pain. Thank you for the long and beautiful 14 1/2 years full of memories. I’m going to miss seeing you in the window everyday, hearing your bark, giving you bits and pieces of my food, going on daily walks, giving you hugs and kisses, giving you baths outside and just spending the most time with you. Thank you for all of the times you were there to see me laugh, to see me cry, and for moving away from home with me and seeing all of the different layers that life had in store. You were the most amazing companion, I wouldn’t have traded you for anything in the world. I’m so happy I got to share all of my love with you, on the good days and the bad ones too.
