I get to marry my person. No one will ever understand the place you have in my heart and what you mean to me… We spent our first two years long distance with me being in Charlotte, NC and you Columbus, OH. In the midst, here we are 🙏🏽.

“Inevitable” refers to something that is bound to happen, unavoidable, or cannot be prevented or escaped. It describes events or outcomes that are certain to occur due to circumstances, factors, or conditions that make them unavoidable or inescapable.

I wrote this poem for you, Cassious, for a challenge we had last Christmas and it will forever be relevant ❤️‍🔥.

Inevitable…

Coasting through life with all that I have experienced and all that I learned, I bumped into you.

The most random encounter, so we thought, would be the one that we pursue.

Inevitable…

How could one end up in the same place at the same time in the same space with our hearts aligned?

It is a question that was answered in due time with unavoidable footsteps that only God and the universe can define.

Inevitable…

Listen, I’m nice, I’m cool, and it doesn’t take much for me to gain new people in my life because I give off this certain level of comfortability.

Yet no one has been able to access my level of vulnerability.

Inevitable…

It’s like you purchased a skip the line pass and got admission.

No way we fell this fast and connected like a puzzle piece that was missing.

Inevitable…

I had a strong stance on something I thought would be so stupid like long distance that created a resistance

But you had a level of substance and persistence…

I thank God everyday for that and your existence and our situation has opened me up in many ways and now I don’t mind taking a chance in any instance.

Inevitable…

Your love was inescapable made just for me and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
