I honestly can’t believe I’m officially leaving my teens behind and entering my twenties. The last 20 years have been filled with so many memories, lessons, changes, good times, hard times, and people who have helped shape me into the person I am today. Looking back, there are definitely things I wish had gone differently, but I’ve learned to trust that everything happens for a reason and that even the difficult moments are part of the journey. As they say, “everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.” I’m choosing to carry that mindset with me into this next chapter and trust that whatever comes my way, I’ll figure it out. 🤍

I’m so grateful for everyone who has supported me, believed in me, encouraged me, and stood by me through every version of myself. You know who you are, and I truly appreciate you more than you know. One of the biggest things I’ve learned is how important it is to surround yourself with people who support you, make you feel like yourself, and give you energy instead of constantly draining it. Not everyone is going to understand you, like you, or want to see you succeed, and that’s okay. The haters are going to hate, but I’d rather focus my energy on the people who genuinely love me, support me, and want to see me happy. ✨

So here’s to 20 — a new decade, new experiences, new opportunities, and becoming even more of the person I’m meant to be. I don’t know exactly what this chapter will look like, but I’m excited to find out. Wow. I can’t believe my first semester of college is already coming to an end. I’m so incredibly grateful for all the wonderful experiences and people that were brought to me this semester.

And that’s a wrap on season 12 🎬!

These past four years have been life changing. Throughout all the ups and downs, I’ve realized my worth and my strength and kept learning how to love myself. I also met some amazing people. Thank you to everyone. Truly. Whether you are a supporter or a hater, you’ve helped shape who I am today. And I couldn’t be more proud. Cheers to another part of my story being finished. The best is yet to come.

It’s official! I’m now a bobcat. I’m so excited for this new chapter in my life and can’t wait to see what amazing things I can accomplish. Being a journalist means I find myself in unexpected places from time to time. Yesterday (3.11.25) I got the chance to go through a building inspection with the Newton Fire Department for an upcoming story my team (@rowan_thehood , @d.perez_101 ) and I are working on. Standing on the roof of my school, the school that believes and supports me and my dreams, I felt like I could do anything. It was exhilarating.
