I haven’t been keeping up with macro Mondays but I miss it. Lately life has gotten me out of my regular routine and it’s both fun and stressful. Exciting things are happening but I’ve been neglectful of my plants and this page. And that’s okay. It happens.

But I made myself slow down last night and take a breather. I grabbed my camera and shot the things that stood out to me. It felt good

This one deserves its own post. I can’t get over it 😍 when I first started this hobby, I didn’t understand the hype and thought all anthurium kinda looked the same? But now?! I get it. I totally get it.

I won this incredible giveaway from @rareplantfairy which was another amazing moment. I’ve always observed in wonder the plants from Rare Plant Fairy and I have gotten a few amazing ones added to my collection from their shop! I was stoked to win such an amazing plant and I’ve been absolutely stalking the package waiting for its arrival. Thanks RPF! Day, week, month has been made

Dedicating MONSTERa Monday to the new growth in my house 👏🏼🙌🏼

Monstera White Monster- got as a tiny 2 in
Monstera Albo- putting out its second leaf since I’ve gotten it at the beginning of the year
Monstera Burl Marx Flame- just a tiny baby but starting to see some leaf shape changes now

Beginner friendly plants for the forgetful plant parents! Others include cacti and other succulents. Pothos is also a good option but I’ll touch on that one in my next video!

Snake plants and ZZ plants can dry out completely before watering. Not all Hoya are created equally. Research how dry each type can get. Some are thirstier than others, but the more common types you find in stores can get more dry between watering and they’ll be fine.

One thing I did not mention in the video is lighting! 💡 ☀️ Snake plants and ZZ plants can tolerate lower light and will survive. But if you want them to GROW, they require bright light. So add those grow lights or put them near a south or east facing window!

Get your bugs! Especially those of you who are actually experiencing fall and are starting to bring plants inside! I get mine on rotation to help prevent pests from destroying my plants! This isn’t an ad and I’m not an affiliate. I just really love them
