Super fun kit bash alien for a demo at @picturethisportland @oregonmediaproduction party today! That’s @iamneilgreen under all that rubber and @maggiegreenmua on the assist. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done something like this so thank you for the questions and being a lovely audience, it was an honor to be there. Fantastic event and wonderful to see so many familiar faces. Prosthetics are a mix of @infected_fx and @rbfxprosthetics with @dental_distortions teeth. Application and painting by @ravenousstudios. And yes, that is an upside down neck applied to his face, mwa ha ha ha. One of my earliest films I was able to work with Robert Carradine. It was shot in Louisiana and it was a challenging shoot from the get go with budget changes, crew walkout, and communication issues. Honestly, I was just trying to survive and do a good job under incredible amount of stress. He was kind to me, and very professional even when he was very frustrated with the situation on set…..and schooled others that it was their job to set a good example when they knew better. He could be a tough read but his actions and words had a lasting impact on me. I’m sorry to hear he’s gone. RIP. by @ravenousstudios

It’s been a weird season with our haunt closed down. Fun to do some different things than I normally do. But one thing I’ve strangely missed doing is my 10 min vamp makeup that I always complain I never have enough time for! The last few years I’ve played the first house greeter….a very dumb idea when you are also running the makeup team. So I usually have between 7-10 min to bang out a makeup and get in costume as fast as possible (usually with costume help of @suesank and @brooke.learmouth thank goodness) and run to the front. I’m often super grumpy when doing this makeup on myself because I do depend on its impact on my confidence as an actor…..so it’s strange that this is the one that has stuck in my head. But there you go. Happy Halloween Week everyone. Get out there and visit some haunts! Used @rcfx_sfx alcohol based airbrush makeup on this one and an @iwata_airbrush by @ravenousstudios
