From the court to the post-match interviews, getting beyond the scoreboard and hearing directly from the players is key (thank you team!)

🌿 We Are The Kiwi Ferns.

Five years ago, I had the honour of putting together a story celebrating 25 years of the Kiwi Ferns.

I’ve always believed it’s important to know where you come from as you move forward in life. And as the Rugby League World Cup approaches, our wāhine carry with them a rich history, whakapapa and a purpose that extends far beyond the jersey 🙌🏼

What a difference a year makes...

Redundancy is a scary place. Not knowing what came next. The pressure to hustle, to find work, to provide, to rebuild. And the hardest part? Losing my identity. For so long, my career had been such a big part of who I was. When that disappeared, I felt lost.

Tonight, one year later, I'm working at the All Blacks game at Eden Park - a moment I never would have experienced if redundancy hadn't happened.

It's funny how life can break you open in ways you never asked for, only to lead you somewhere you never imagined you'd be.

Here's to the uncomfortable chapters, the uncertain seasons, and finding your way back to yourself. 🤍 by @ravinderhunia

During lockdown I read up about Manifesting, putting things out to the universe.

I then made a goal
To be the one of the best Interviewers in NZ!
I put on my own live podcast from my garage that did well, started a web series with my bro @sliwill to get more comfortable infront of the camera.

Learnt the game of researching and put in work.
Then focused on my own style and bringing humour and relatablilty to the art form of asking questions.
But above all that the goal remained the same!

This was huge for me to interview Izzy, been a fan since the King in the Ring days and to work at something I manifested made it real to me and cemented that, manifesting is actually a thing that works!
But only if you work!

Rinse and repeated that format with everything I’ve done since.
Talked it into existence and went after it, one little step at a time!
Audit what you wanna do and go after it fam! Speak it out, write it down or be a dweeb like me and DM someone you’d be scared to talk to haha and then mahi dog it! by @ravinderhunia
