A nice game after having turned #chess into a kind of a snakes n ladders 🪜game the way the ELO rating plunged from 1600s to less than 1500 🤦🏻‍♂️ mainly because I get so engrossed with the fascinating positions that I let the clock ⏰ tick away🤷
Enjoy the recording of the PGN, the rap and a fascinating game of chess😊 by @ravveee

The Dutch defence looks good when the Stonewall variation clicks.

Most often than not, it’s the inability of the White pieces to make any inroads into Black territory that seals the game for Black.

An uphill task getting to the 1600s 🥸 still quite a few points away from 1700 and then maintaining the 1700 rating points across 100 tournament games 🤨🤨 to make the international master title #fideonlinearena by @ravveee

One of those dream #chess moves that one always wishes one gets to play 😊 and it just happened out of the blue 😁 Do you see it? by @ravveee

Despite a sequence of good, consecutive wins with an average accuracy above 80, there’s a need for more focus and less mistakes to reach the #AIM #arenainternationalmaster level

A piece thrown away in move 14, due to haste and oversight,

regaining the piece back in move 20

sacrificing another piece on move 25, it’s a roller coaster 🎢 like progress and not the steady, consistent movement that is needed!

despite the win being against a solidly ranked player!

The takeaway is that Black could have played …Ne5!! giving back the piece to avoid mate because I can’t take the Black Queen as my Queen is under threat and the Knight can’t be taken by the pawn as the pawn ♟️ is pinned and the only move for White is to take the Knight with the Rook Rxe4! and Black can escape the mate threat but the opponent resigned 😑

Well played to myself 😊😎but I need to take my game a notch higher with less mistakes like the Knight blundered away on move 14. by @ravveee
