One last dive for the photographers before we close the season 🌊📸 Our last Underwater Photography Workshop of the 2026 season is happening this Sunday, September 27th in Barcelona. A day to slow down, explore the underwater world with a camera, and learn to see light, movement and composition from a completely different perspective. You don’t need to be a professional photographer- this workshop is open to photographers and photography lovers who want to discover or deepen their practice underwater. RAW SPOTLIGHT • @gabrielvideographer 📹 Gabriel is a Brazilian photographer and filmmaker currently based in Barcelona. With over 12 years of professional experience, he graduated from the Academia Internacional de Cinema (AIC) in São Paulo and has worked across five countries, including China. Pragmatic and objective, Gabriel values simple workflows, efficient logistics and, above all, collaboration. His run-and-gun approach keeps productions fast and practical, leaving more space for creativity and spontaneous moments. He specializes in event coverage, directing people who aren’t used to being in front of the camera, gimbal hyperlapses, creative transitions and 360° workflows. Gabriel’s favorites:

Want to get more confident with your gimbal and create smoother, more intentional cinematic shots? Join RAW Collective and filmmaker @gabrielvideographer for a fully hands-on videomaking workshop focused on understanding the gimbal through practice 📹 This is not a theory-heavy session. We’ll be moving, filming, experimenting and learning how to use the gimbal as a creative tool: from the essential setup to more advanced cinematic movement🔥 The goal is to help you stop simply “using” a gimbal and start making intentional creative choices with it. You’ll learn field-tested techniques and workflows shaped by more than 12 years of professional production experience. You don’t need to be advanced: we’ll go from the fundamentals into more creative techniques throughout the session. Bring your own camera + gimbal if you have one.

Spots are intentionally limited to keep the workshop practical and give everyone time to film, experiment and ask questions. Come ready to move, shoot and practise 🎥 Taller language will be in ES/ EN

RAW SPOTLIGHT • @nafiahmedphoto 📸 Nafi is an Italian fashion photographer currently based in Barcelona. His creative journey began in London, where he moved at the age of 15 and lived for many years before turning photography into a full-time career around eight years ago. He has always been drawn to visual arts and human connection, which naturally led him towards photography, a medium that allows him to bring both together. His work is largely inspired by photographers such as Steven Meisel and Peter Lindbergh, while other art forms, particularly music and painting, also play an important role in shaping his creative vision. He works across both digital and film, exploring the different qualities and emotions that each medium can bring to an image. His main gear includes:

Whether you’re trying it for the first time, looking to improve your technique, or simply want to practice your photography skills, come join us! Join @favierantoine & @alilexplo for an afterwork photo walk around Barceloneta, experimenting with flash as the light fades and the evening turns into night! 
 We’ll walk around the neighborhood together, try out different flash techniques, and have fun shooting along the way. A great chance to practice a skill that’s well worth having in your photography toolkit!

🌊📸 You already trained your eye. Now take it underwater. On 12 September, RAW Collective × NĪLA come together for a full-day underwater photography workshop in Barcelona, created specifically for photographers and serious photography enthusiasts. This isn’t about starting photography from zero, but about discovering what happens to the way you shoot when the environment completely changes. We’ll begin with breathing, relaxation and movement so you can feel comfortable in the water before introducing the camera. From there, we’ll spend most of the workshop experimenting practically in calm, shallow water. We’ll explore underwater light and colour, reflections, movement, fabrics, bubbles, depth and perspective, as well as how to direct a subject, compose with limited time underwater and begin developing a visual story beneath the surface.
