This is our reality... The war has not ended as they claimed, and the bombing has not stopped. This video documents a strike very close to us, while we continue to live with the same fear every day. We don't know if these will be our last moments or if we will survive this time too.

This shelling happened very close to me just a little while ago, and it was absolutely terrifying. The sound shook everything around me and filled me with overwhelming fear, as if my heart might stop from the sheer terror. We no longer know what it feels like to be safe, because every nearby explosion reminds us that our lives are at risk at any moment. All we can do is try to hold ourselves together and pray to God to let us get through this night safely, and protect us from this endless terror. by @rawan.a.ms

Since the beginning of the war, this has been one of those days that I know will never leave my memory.

A massive barrage of airstrikes surrounded us from every direction. With every explosion, it felt like my heart was about to stop. All you could do was wait for your turn, wondering if the next strike would be the one that hit you.

We survived that day by a miracle. If the bombing had continued, we might not be alive today.

What makes that day even more painful is that I lost my childhood friend Israa, my friend since elementary school, along with her family, in that bombing. 💔

And what hurts even more is that many of the people we loved who survived that day with us were later killed in other airstrikes.

At the time, all we could hear were the sounds of the airstrikes and explosions around us. We couldn’t see what was actually happening. For the first time, after this video was shared, we saw the very moments we had lived through while surrounded by those terrifying sounds.

It felt as if we were living that day all over again. Every detail came back the fear, the sounds, and all the painful memories we had tried so hard to move past.

May Allah have mercy on them all, and may Allah protect us and grant us survival through this war. 💔

The situation is becoming harder with every passing day.

The bombing continues, and so does the fear. Every explosion reminds us that nowhere truly feels safe, and every night is filled with uncertainty.
