Another day, another sugaring education moment 🤓🍯

Not all areas of the body grow hair equally, which is why application precision and direction matters A LOT.

This affects the removal, how and when would the hair grow back and your skin quality. So correct application = less chances of ingrown hairs 🪩

Natalia’s last day with us is October 15th, she needs to prioritize her family and personal life 💌 we have nothing but gratitude for our journey together and she will always have a special place in the story of RAW.

Picking the correct shield is everything when doing a Lash Lift & Infusion ✨ we hear often that you think your lashes cannot be lifted because it hasn’t worked in the past or someone has told you that some lashes can’t be lifted.

Damn time flies, it’s a year of working on the business not in the business. If you want to grow as a person, open a business and it’s personal growth on HIGH SPEED 💨 Well here’s a little of what I’ve learned and what I’m figuring out

I was half the business, problem. Being self employed and having a business are very different things. I always knew being behind the chair wasn’t for me long term, just after working many many 12 hours days 6 days a week, it was time to continue onto the next thing and hope for the best 🤞🏽

I understood what the risk was in theory, until I actually had to decide between payroll and paying myself, between cash flow and a salary for me. I like risk but less than I thought 💭

This is my favourite. Taking care of my mental health, or my body, working on my discipline and what I’m capable of are all part of becoming a better leader.

Still trying and still failing, waking up and trying again ✨

Ego. Ego. Ego.
That’s all I have to say 🙃

Damn, just create your own path. What looks like a problem is TRULY your own business showing you a beautiful opportunity.

Brazilians can be intimidating, but we got you 🍯🤎

Here a few things to know before you come in the first time 💌 oh and enjoy your first Brazilian at RAW for only $49, just for you 🤫

1. Avoid exfoliating the day of, let your skin be ✨

2. No lotions, oils or heavy creams. It would make removing the hair much harder! 🥥

3. If you’re skin is irritated or sun burnt reschedule for a different day, we don’t want to compromise your skin ⭐️

4. Wear loose comfortable clothing and cotton underwear 🩲

5. Let us know about any skin conditions or sensitives so we can better take care of you 🩵

Social media is filled with people that “made it”, that “know it all”, and I’m not here for that. I’m absolutely not there yet.

And yes I am very proud of what we’ve built, of our team, and very grateful that we’ve grown 5x since my very first month seeing clients on my own. But truly this is the beginning, or simply another step of a bigger journey.

Here to take you along, to show you the mistakes, and what it looks like a little closer to reality. But mostly for me, as a journal to document this story, this very raw journey, to not get lost along the way and to hopefully find more women that are in a similar path.

Not a guru, but rather someone with an immense need to communicate and grow. Aaaand social media is cool these days and I wanna be a cool kid.
