Half of the Dragon Type duo its Giratina from the 1000 Entry Lottery known as "Super Rare Card Set Get" A lottery campaign that occurred in 2012. Much like the LEGEND Promos of 2010. This campaign was similar but for Black and White packs. You could submit the bar code of BW5 packs throughout 2012 and be entered into the lottery to have a chance of receiving these cards.

The texture for the Giratina is miles better than that of the Rayquaza lol. To be honest the Rayquaza is super mundane, there are way better full-arts than that card. But the Giratina actually isnt that bad, its definitely one of the better ones. I really like how the card almost looks like its lifting up from certain perspectives, and I just like Giratina in general : )

ポケモンカードゲーム　デザインコンテスト
Pokemon Trading Card Game Design Contest.

This is the 5th Grade Winning Design for the Shogakukan Children’s Magazine Design Contest. The publishing company responsible for the 2009 Design Contest and actually also the 1999 Snap Photo Contest as well. The 5th grade winner was combined with 12 other winners, each all receiving 100 copies of the card.

This is without a doubt one of my utmost favourite cards. I have a habit of not wanting to keep cards that I know I wont ever be able to finish the subset for, but to be honest. This card is an exception. Being a fan of Gen 4 im so grateful to own this. The depiction of Arceus, essentially the most powerful Pokemon in the verse is so emphatic. Displaying his Normal, Water, Electric, Fire, Steel, Ghost and Bug Type forms. Its genuinely so cool.

Design contest cards are some of the most unique illustrations, they often have a very unique not necessarily "professional" style given the fact they are drawn by children lol, but that honestly makes them all the more special. Often times they have unique concepts or elements about them, which usually includes multiple Pokemon.

I really do love this card alot, it reminds me of when I hacked Platinum with Action Replay to give myself the Azure Flute to get Arceus.

LP Lugia. Probably my favourite Lugia card in the entire TCG (way better than call of legends) This Lugia along with 4 other cards was part of a lottery campaign during the LEGEND Era time (HGSS) in English. You could mail in purchased pack barcodes and had a chance to receive 1 of a 1000 of this card. There arent many left in the wild in raw form. For the card itself the pose really shows off Lugia's strength. It was an interesting choice making shiny Lugia red.

LP Ho-oh

Of course I had to pair it with the rainbow bird. Personally Ho-ohs' lore is way cooler lol. The guardian of Ecruteak city, resurrecting the 3 eeveelutions to turn them into the 3 dogs and actually being featured in the very first episode of Pokemon. Ho-oh's lore is actually so much cooler. I feel it doesnt get as appreciated as much anyway. Heres to the Rainbow Bird ;' )

セキエイこうげ (Indigo Plateau 070/L-P)

Part of the Legend Promo era, Indigo Plateau fits in towards the later end of the period. In similar fashion to Burned Tower, it was a prize card for 3 competitive wins at the Challenge Hirobas as well as Pokemon Center Card Get Battles which were organised Pokemon events that took place in Pokemon Centers amongst Japan.

The comparison between Indigo Plateau and Burned Tower is quite unique, if youve played the Gen 2 games, you're familiar with both locations, however Indigo Plateau was first conceived in Kanto, before you eventually reach the Elite 4 or Pokemon league. The card's depiction is pretty interesting. It reflects the games quite well having to go up the stairs and enter before finally meeting the Elite 4 inside. The subtle Celebi cameo was also quite cool.

Whenever I see this card I always think back to the games and the nervous feeling you get of whether your team is good enough to beat the E4. Its timeless lol. by @rawcardsyesplease

やけたとうalso known as Burned Tower Reviving Legends Prize.

This card is sick for so many reasons I dont even know where to start lol. Im actually not the biggest fan of the dogs, they were actually so annoying to catch in the games, because they are roaming Pokemon which means once you encounter them in the Burned Tower and release them, there is no way to encounter them other than randomly, in which there is also a chance they will use Roar or simply run away lol. But thats beside the point

Not only does this card feature 3 Legendary Pokemon collectively. Ecruteak City, home of the Burned Tower was such a cool place for me in the games. Being struck by lightning and burned to a crisp, killing 3 Eeveelutions in the process. The name "Reviving Legends" is so fitting given the 3 Dogs were revived in their new forms within the lore. It'd be amazing if the card had a Ho-oh cameo also, but 3 Pokemon is more than enough ;' )

This card is also a Prize Card as well, it was achieved by gaining 5 consecutive wins at the 2010 February Challenge Hiroba. (note that 5 wins was actually quite difficult)

I love the LEGEND era alot. The tea stained border really made the cards feel ancient which is what Gen 2 really was about in my eyes.

Space Time and lastly Antimatter. The three pillars of the Pokemon universe right under Arceus himself. Giratina is the banished son of Arceus, living in the Distortion world with full control of Anti-matter. Its one of my favourite Pokemon. Its a total privilege to own this card with only 36 existing.

What would Pearl be without Diamond?

Time and Space, this is where the Pokemon lore started getting really insane. I was so enveloped as a youth playing DPPt Dialga Palkia Giratina Arceus, way too cool lol.

Generation 4, I dont really know where to start. Despite being a 90s kid I have the most enjoyable memories with DPPt. Water/Dragon is such a unique typing.

Its finally done I am truly speechless lol. If you asked me 7 years ago would I ever have one of these cards yet alone all 3. I would of given you a resounding no and said its simply not possible. From someone who was buying HP to NM cards on every marketplace you could think of. To own these 3 cards in amazing conditions is nothing short of an unimaginable dream. As someone who spent so much time growing up with Generation 4 this is essentially the peak of a Gen 4 collectors mountain (we dont count 07 CL ;] ) But in all seriousness I am so grateful to own this trio. Its taken such a long time and I can finally say its done.

To those who encouraged me, have given me kind words on my collection thus far or who are simply a close friend of mine. Thank you so much. I complain about this hobby alot its true lol. But I promise I just want it to be a better space for those who genuinely care about cards, cause thats what its really about for me at least.

I dont know where I go from here, I feel so content regarding collecting. I set many goals some years ago when I started and initially these werent in it. But the more I researched the more I chased and wanted. There isnt much else. Just one last card, maybe I get it at some point or maybe I dont. But at the very minimum im extremely proud with how far ive come. Not many people make it this far from genuinely nothing. I started from scratch in 2019 after I had a wave of sadness when someone stole my original collection during childhood. So to be here now is so heartwarming. Maybe some of you will understand how it really feels to reach a point of true satisfaction with collecting and maybe some of you dont. But either way im just so happy, if you read this far thank you it means alot. I hope we can talk about cards some time : )

(The plat will eventually end up raw, I promise you my name is true)

I really should of got 2005 ages ago lol.

You can clearly see I really like Generation 4. Whenever I see this card it reminds me of the game "Pokemon Battle Revolution" on the Nintendo Wii, if you played it then youll know exactly what I mean.
