I think something in me will always feel like this isn’t the reality. And when the wave hits, I realize it is.. and I’m under water for a bit before I can come back up.

Sometimes the waves are smaller and sometimes they are bigger, but I’m always riding them.. going in and out of accepting what’s real. by @rawdraftsbysammy

Often I think I ignore, or resist, the small shifts.

I shut things down because I don’t feel like they matter. Or that they’ll make a difference.

It’s not exactly how I want to feel, so it doesn’t feel good enough.

But it does matter.

And when I do allow myself to lean into those shifts, moments get better. I get better. Life gets better. by @rawdraftsbysammy

I didn’t think we had a choice

But maybe we do
until we don’t

Maybe we can
analyze, observe, detach
until we have no option
