The fastest coaster in any Universal park — and the ride vehicles actually DRIFT! 🔥

Inspired by the iconic cars and wild stunts from the movies, you can ride in one of four legendary vehicles:

🏁 1970 Dodge Charger
🏁 Mazda RX-7
🏁 Nissan Skyline GT-R
🏁 Toyota Supra

I absolutely LOVED this ride. The drifting, the speed and the sensation of actually being behind the wheel make it such a unique coaster experience.

I think these are my favourite ride vehicles EVER.

Every car was great, but for me, this is definitely a back-row coaster — the extra airtime and intensity in the Supra just take it up another level 🔥

Riding the ultimate Mack Rides masterpiece—The Ride to Happiness. 🌀🎢

Is this the best spinning coaster in the world?

Personally I love the themeing and I enjoyed the ride but of the multiple rides I had, only two were amazing.

What are your thoughts, as I know this is a No.1 coaster for so many, but for me, it sits outside my top ten.

Drakon is the Paultons first-ever inverting roller coaster. It stands 75 feet tall, features a vertical lift, a beyond-vertical drop, and throws riders through two inversions including a zero-g stall.

After queueing all morning I managed to be first in line for the Frozen Ever After ride on March 29th 2026 the official opening of Disney Adventure World.

Come with me and see a glimpse of the queue, full ride and gift shop.

Spoilers included!

Note: The very first people into the area and onto the ride were 15 Make a Wish foundation children and their families. A lovely touch from Disney.

After that, we were allowed in.

Happy National Rollercoaster Day!

When people ask me what I do with my spare time, I smile and know there is nothing but the sound of a roaring rollercoaster in my head. I don't see much changing in the future.

Here are some of the coasters I've been on this year, there are so many more and more to come.

My no.1. of all time, Velocicoaster, is in there three times. Though I'm not sure if it will still be in the top spot after I ride my no.1 bucket list coaster Falcons Flight when it opens!

I've never experienced interaction between two coasters like this, especially after the second launch.

On the 22nd of May 2025 I got to experience the opening day of Epic Universe and I'm still on a high!

Stardust Racers (green) was the standout attraction for me.

The yellow coaster felt like it had more air time, but the intensity of the green coaster was better than expected, especially on the back row.

One year ago today, Voltron Nevera opened, and the coaster landscape levelled up!

I can honestly say I've never been on a coaster like it, and although it's not my top coaster, it's great. Admittedly, it was snowing when I visited, so this may have affected my experience.

Having said that, the 105⁰ launch has to be experienced, and the theming throughout is world-class.

For those who hate long queues, this one is actually entertaining. From water features to singing electricity, it's one of my favourites.

Admittedly, (if I'm being honest), I can't get my head around the turntable. I understand it's part of the story, to go out and back, but personally, I'd have preferred the ride if there was another launch and an outer top hat in place of the turntable, but I'm not a coaster designer so we'll leave it to the professionals.

Genuinely can't get enough of Zadra.

My favourite ride in Europe and second favourite ride of all time.

Admittedly there isn't much on ride theming, but Zadra proves you don't need it if the ride is good enough.

Hyperia!

Forge your wings 🪽

Find your fearless on the UK's tallest and fastest coaster.

24th May 2024. What. A. Day.

I was in the queue at 5:20am having stayed in a shark cabin. I managed to be the sixth member of the public (who hadn’t won club 236) to ride Hyperia on opening day.

The entire day was one of the greatest themepark days I’ve ever experienced in my life, and there has been a wealth of competition.

The atmosphere from the first second to the last was mind blowing. From the organisation @thorpeparkofficial to the opening ceremony, the staff on the day, ride operations, street theatre, certificates, merchandise, countless amazing people I met and of course the ride itself everything was unbelievable. Special thanks to everyone in the queue helped keep the excitement levels high.

Hyperia lived up to her expectations, and then blew them all straight into the sky.

When riding Hyperia for the first time, I genuinely felt sensations I’d never felt on a coaster before. This for me is easily the greatest coaster in the UK and if this is the way forward for Merlin then I’m extremely excited. Well done Merlin for taking a chance on Hyperia.

I managed to get four rides in total. I rode front right, third row left, back row left and back row right. I can’t decide where I prefer on the train as it’s amazing front and back but I do prefer the left seat for the outrageous outback turn.

If you’ve not managed to find your fearless, it’ll be worth the wait, trust me. I genuinely cannot wait to get back on Hyperia, hopefully sooner rather than later.

It's official, Nemesis at Alton Towers will be known as Nemesis Reborn from 2024.

Share your thoughts on the new name and new look of the Nemesis Alien.

Personally I can't wait and love the new theming, also, as it has a new name, is it a new Coaster credit? I'll let you decide.

Universal Studios is finally bringing a Theme Park to the UK... possibly!

I know what you're thinking. It's not going to happen.
We've had heartbreak before and we're all burnt out with rumours, but allow yourselves to believe, even if just for a moment that this is happening and you'll be as excited as I am right now!!

They've purchased the land, registered the "Universalgreatbritain" name and they also have the theme park rights to Lord of the Rings.

Maybe, just maybe this is finally it!!!
