Bitterness is all…the hawk and the dove stopped arguing long enough to fool us and then shot some more missiles(the fella on the BBC calls them miss-ILES)~the new acting class trend on instagram is people acting like they’re catching their spouses cheating,Lee Strasberg is turning over in his grave and i am ashamed that i even know about this trend~ the president doesnt know how to stop a war but he is now refereeing the World Cup~i have some people in my life that i don’t remember ordering and the frogs on the cow ponds around my house still sing summer songs at night as if eveything is hunky and dory ~i miss the dogs and the house could use a deep cleaning~Kristofferson says “ anymore it doesn’t matter who’s right or wrong” and i tend to agree~i rarely take the opportunity to start a sentence with the word “anymore” although i think it’s cooler n hell~is there a point if nobody wins?(Nobody Wins is the name of the song that starts with “anymore it doesn’t matter “) i guess i can watch Talking Heads play Life During Wartime again to see if i can do that David Byrne dance,hell the night is young… Bitterness is all the rage. by @rawroosterart

‘king of the road’acrylic/ink on a 16x20INCH stretched canvas $65 delivers •••about the process,this is based on the song King Of The Road written by the late Roger Miller. A few weeks ago I watched a YouTube documentary on Mr Miller and it really struck with me,so I plan to do at least 2 paintings based on his songs. Some of the symbolism is the number 64 on the sweatshirt is the year this song was written. I imagined a man born in 1964 living a rail yard life today. Graphitti on the boxcars would be a big difference. Some of the art on the boxcar are a couple of tags I’ve seen in Houston and a couple I made up including the crown and KOTR king of the road piece on the door •••••Michael Warren, RAWROOSTER ART by @rawroosterart
