Ilan Salem - One Sees What May Be Hills (Live Session)

When flutist @ilan.salem and pianist/producer @nitaihershkovits sat down to write the album ‘Songs of the Willows’, every single melody was crafted together - note by note. This particular track, ‘One Sees What May Be Hills’, brings an unmistakably fun, child-like sense of adventure with colorful lines weaving on top of a steady bassline.

OUT NOW – ‘Frequent Consequences’ by @frumshir

Less than two months after ‘This Is The Cake’, Shir Frum returns with the first single from her third Raw Tapes album, due out November 27th.

“We’re living with the consequences of actions we didn’t choose and don’t agree with,” says singer-songwriter Shir Frum of ‘Frequent Consequences’, the first single from her upcoming album of the same name. “And this is a cry for change.”

OUT NOW - ‘This Is The Cake’ by Shir Frum

@frumshir describes ‘This Is The Cake’, her second album, as “a lot of openness and rawness, covered in very elegant wrapping paper” Frum writes of deeply relatable, deeply human battles here: depression, health, love, family. Much of the album was written and recorded at home: “I like to make music where I cook or bake,” she says. Unwrap this cake; it’s all yours.

OUT NOW – ‘Shaded Spots’ by @frumshir

For anyone who suffer from migraines, ‘Shaded Spots’ will hit an immensely personal chord. But for any listener, the third single from Shir Frum’s second LP, ‘This Is The Cake’, is a gorgeous, dark, indie-folk diamond. Shir sings of the spots that cloud her vision — a sign that a migraine is coming and the unmoored feeling once it’s arrived. Frum is lyrical storyteller; ‘Shaded Spots’ creates a whole hidden world.

OUT NOW – ‘Bridge’ by Shir Frum

The second single from @frumshir upcoming LP ׳This Is The Cake׳ summons an emotion that millions can recognize, but few can name: the quiet weight of depression. Frum portrays a narrow bridge that must be crossed carefully to reach the other side safely, without looking down. Over delicate piano, gentle electric textures, and a clarinet–cello duet, her voice moves between comforting ground and a quiet cry for help.
“I don’t need to tell you what you already know,” she sings, nodding to every lost soul, as a soft insistence that you are not alone in this.

OUT NOW - ‘Shame On Your Smile’ by Shir Frum

A sweet, familiar call for a lover to come into the light. @frumshir wrote ‘Shame On Your Smile’ upon waking up one morning without a second thought — a pure expression of love. On the first single from her second album, ‘This Is The Cake’, together with her partner, @yo_tamagam, and a band of childhood friends, Frum built the song into a hushed, loving lullaby.

OUT NOW - ‘Sands Don’t Sleep’, album by Sol Monk

Drummer @solmonk1 is back with another album. ‘Sands Don’t Sleep’ is his second album with the trio - guitarist @tamuzdekel and bassist @dorsambass, joining him for another adventure following 2025’s freewheeling ‘New Moves’. These six tracks tighten their sound and expand their horizons, fusing acid jazz, Afrobeat and house into a twirling, grooving trip. Producer @rejoicer1 (who guests on bass and keys) gives the album a psychedelic shine that echoes long after the final note.

OUT NOW - ‘Open Spirals’ by Sol Monk

On ‘Open Spirals’, the second single from @solmonk1 voyage ‘Sands Don’t Sleep’, his upcoming album, the drummer lays out a map and goes exploring. With bassist/producer @rejoicer1 and guitarist @tamuzdekel along for the ride, the track peeks into mysterious musical corners — roving North African melodies, twinkling guitar tones, percussion that sizzles and snaps. The destination? The dancefloor. “We made this imagining people moving and dancing,” says Sol Monk. A soundtrack to explore how your body can move.

OUT NOW - ‘Found & Found’ by Nitai Hershkovits and Daniel Dor, also available on vinyl

@nitaihershkovits and @_daniel_dor return with Found & Found, their second collaborative album and a natural continuation of the musical dialogue initiated with The Garden Suite.

Born out of pure curiosity — “there was more to say, more to explore,” explains Dor — the album expands the duo’s sonic language beyond the synth-only framework of their previous work. While the Moog remains central, Found & Found introduces clarinet and acoustic guitar, gently dissolving the boundaries between electronic and acoustic sound.

Each composition unfolds through interlocking, mantra-like patterns. Repetition becomes a space for transformation: melodies circle, textures shift, and subtle harmonic movements invite the listener inward. The music is structured with care, yet it feels open and fluid, intimate, spacious and quietly immersive. If their previous record explored orchestral depth through synthesizers, this new chapter embraces air and clarity. Acoustic gestures emerge within electronic landscapes, creating a sound world that is both grounded and weightless.

Daniel Dor brings with his fellow partner Nitai Hershkovits a refined harmonic sensitivity shaped by both jazz and classical traditions. Together they continue to refine a shared language that moves between structure and freedom, precision and emotion.

The album is available on vinyl as a special limited edition, released in collaboration between @rawtapes and @circuscompany.
