I did a thing.
I've been wanting a tattoo that was dedicated to my favorite band for a long time. They've been behind some of my best memories and one of my saddest ones. Now, with the help of @gracelandtattoo I have a new memory to sort of erase that one bad memory. Thank you, Adam. This means a lot to me, and I'm beyond grateful! Oh! And thanks for spinning @greenday the whole time 🤘🤘

How......has it been 25 years!? This album changed everything about me, before #Dookie came out, my music of choice was heavily rap influenced. I was a teenager and didn't really know who I was. The funny thing is, I didn't like the song Longview when I first heard it lol. Again- rap. It wasn't until I heard Basket Case that I truly fell in love with them. I watched #MTV (when it was actually good) all day just to see the video, and the video is why I wanted to be a drummer. I also remember going to #BlockbusterMusic to listen to the entire album before I bought the cassette. Those were the days. Anyways, this album is the shit (pun) and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it being 25 years. Happy birthday, Dookie! @greenday #GreenDay #HappyDookieDay #25YearsOfDookie #Dookie25 by @ray_fool

What's left to say that hasn't been said already about this man? Nothing really. But I want to add my name to the pile.
The characters and universe he created has reached so many people, and will continue to for, hopefully, ever. Sadly I never got to meet him, but if I did, I wouldn't know what to say that he hasn't heard a zillion times over. "Thank you for Spider-Man. Thank you for my favorite comic book character. Thank you for your vision. Thank you." Sadly the man is gone, but his legacy will live on. His work led us to one of the greatest cinematic universes there is. I'm sad he's gone, but he'll never truly be gone as long as there's a kid somewhere who opens his first issue of Spider-Man, or sees his first Marvel movie. Legends never die, and he truly was one.
I personally will miss his voice, just hearing him speak, you knew the voice and it always felt... comfortable. He's given us so many characters, but I will forever connect him to Spidey. What a legend. "With great power, comes great responsibility." Rest in peace, Stan Lee. Excelsior! 😥🕷 #StanLee #RIPStanLee #Marvel #SpiderMan #Spidey #StanTheManTheMythTheLegend #LegendsNeverDie #Thwip #Excelsior by @ray_fool
