The weekend that was…

Bagels had to be baked. Dough, bulk proofed, shaped, rested, poached and after one good nights rest - baked.

Just like everything else, they take their own sweet time. But one thing I can confirm - give me some cream cheese and I’ll destroy it in under 5 minutes. Went a step further, added some smoked salmon to the mix and inhaled it in 3 minutes. But who’s counting?

The mornings were earlier, days more chaotic, but bagels made it all better.

Two months of East 7th Bandra. Thank you to everyone who made it through our doors, family, friends, and especially all the wonderful strangers. You guys made our new space feel like home.

Putting together this restaurant has been an exhausting dream come true. And the craziest part is @divyanalini and I managed to not only start the restaurant, but also get married a month after starting the restaurant (skip to last slide for proof).

For those of you who haven’t made it yet, see you soon!
