Today was supposed to be a lesson in supporting others and staying motivated. We had no expectations of promotions for Gummy Bear. Instead, we were all surprised and earned her very first BJJ stripe. 🥋⭐

Over the last month, she’s worked hard, learned, had some fun and kept showing up. Seeing her recognized for that effort was such a proud parent moment. To put the icing on the day, we got to jump in for a parent round together.

Gummybear Takes Fishing

Today was a special Daddy-Daughter day. It’s also my uncle Tony birthday who outside my dad, one of the first men to take me fishing.

Took Lake fishing for the first time today, and in less than 5 minutes she caught the first fish. 🎣🐟

At first she didn’t want to touch the bait, the fish, or nothing! “No thanks!” By the end, she was all smiles and loving every minute of it.
