Even though we didn’t get to see a puffin or a volcano erupt, we still had an amazing time celebrating Zack’s 40th birthday in Iceland!! 🥰🇮🇸 taken in Iceland by @raychillmederos

I started this piece in July but put it aside to work on some other projects, but I recently got pulled into it again and am happy with the results. I’ve decided I enjoy oil pastel quite a lot, but I’m not in love with working with it on paper. Maybe gesso on the paper first.? Or use pastel panel or even regular gesso board? Anyone have any experience with oil pastels and these supports? Thanks to @bcliston hfor his generous sharing of references and to @raychillmederos for the great modeling work!

We finally got to see our favorite podcast live and I finally got to show my mom one of my favorite Fall hikes during peak Fall foliage🥹 I feel so grateful to have a mom that’s also a best friend 🥰🫶 taken in Utah by @raychillmederos
