Took a little break from the flood of recent projects (truly so grateful!) for this fun, little desert doodle 🌵

Gotta keep things fresh 🌞

Thanks for looking!

Here’s my story…

So much of who I am now is because of this whole journey. I struggled a lot with purpose, confidence, and acceptance; but developing Rayco has given me more of that than I could have ever imagined.

Seeing how much my art has developed and how much I have changed in just 5 years, is wild. It’s a constant story being written. I can’t wait to discover the next chapter…

My favorite bird.

Let me convince you why they’re the best, beyond the fact that they are the cutest things ever.

These birds spend their mornings sun bathing to warm up from the chilly, desert nights (I can relate).

Though they are birds who have wings, they suck at flying, so instead can run up to 20mph (way to overcome your obstacles).

The females will accept other eggs into her nest as if her own, even though they came from another bird (I want that kind of heart).

They also mate for life and both male and female will sit on their eggs and feed the babies (way to be involved dad!).

Five months of work, and I can finally say this one is almost out in the world! 🌲

I’ve spent the past 5 months illustrating a National Parks book for @dkbooks, and it’s wild to think it’ll soon be coming to life (and landing on shelves at your local Barnes & Noble!).

This was my first time illustrating a book like this, and it’s been a total bucket list project, especially getting to create art around something I’m so passionate about. I illustrated the full book jacket (front, back, and spine), 12 full National Park illustrations, and the contents page.

It was one of my most time intensive projects to date, but also one of my absolute favorites. I can’t wait to hold a copy in my hands and flip through it for the first time!

Which National Park do you want to see next? 👀
