Mixed media painting and drawing titled “Emotional Intelligence”. Abstract portrait art about emotional intelligence. A skeleton zombie type girl with an evil eye on her forehead. Words and drawings around her in a graffiti type style, inspired by the graffiti walls of NYC! 💀❤️

“The Three Wise Ladies” - is finished (finally)! 14”x17” detailed drawing on paper. When my arm and hand was not functioning properly I had to take a break from drawing with fine marker pens and this piece was left unfinished for at least 5 years.. I still have to go slow but was able to finish these 3 cheerful ladies! Inspired by the Day of the Dead, and the phrase “See no Evil, Hear no Evil, Speak no Evil”. A friendly bunch of skeletons each representing a different expression. The blue skeleton on the left is “See no Evil” and her eyes are covered with a knitted eyeball hat, the skeleton in the middle is “Hear no Evil” and her ears are covered with sound proof fuzzy garden ear muffs. The Skeleton on the right is “Speak no Evil” and her mouth is covered with her striped turtle neck sweater! 💀🌺💀🌻💀💖

Playing with mixed fabrics, yarn braiding, machine embroidery and hand stitching. Love playing with contrasting colors, and making it up as I go along. It’s very therapeutic and is relaxing for an overthinking mind allowing you to just be in the moment. 🌞❤️
